그 동안 두 장의 앨범을 통해 MC몽 만의 힙합스타일을 선보이며 Neo-Hip Hop이라는 새로운 장르를 대중들에게 각인시킨 MC몽이 1년 4개월 만에 3집 'The way I am' 으로 돌아왔다.
1,2집을 통해 MC몽 만의 스타일을 창조해 낸 프로듀서 김건우 가 또 한번 지휘봉을 잡았다.

비밀리에 진행 된 이번 앨범의 프로젝트 중, 특히 일본 J-POP 싱어 LISA (前 m-flo 멤버) 와 함께 한 너에게 쓰는 편지 Part2 는 또 한번의 센세이션이 예상된다. 그 외에 박효신, 아이비, 메이비, 길(리쌍) 등 국내 최고의 피처링을 자랑한다.

타이틀 곡 "아이스크림" 은 2004년 KBS가요대상 작사가 상을 수상한 경력이 있는 MC몽의 재치있는 가사와 한 번 들으면 중독되어버리는 경쾌한 리듬이 어우러진 또 하나의 명곡이라 하겠다. 또한 이번 앨범에서 MC몽은 "아버지" 라는 곡을 통해 언론상에서 한번도 공개하지 않았던 감춰진 "비밀"을 공개 할 예정이어서 궁금증을 자아내고 있다.

ICE CREAM CD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
THIS THIRD CD FROM MC MONG IS JUST PERFECT TO "FEEL GOOD" LIKE USED TO SAID THE MASTER OF SOUL MUSIC MR JAMES BROWN.
MANY DIFERENT STYLES OF MUSIC FROM HIP HOP TO POP TO ORCHESTRATED SONGS.
MC MONG IS A VERY SYMPATHIC AND FUNNY SINGER AND HIS MUSIC VIDEOS ARE ALWAYS HILARIOUS.
THIS IS NOT A CD THAT WILL MAKE HISTORY OF COURSE BUT STILL VERY PLEASANT TO PLAY IN YOU CD PLAYER...IF YOU'RE FEELING DOWN.

I've been having this CD when it came out.
I jus havent written a review yet.
Although, I didnt buy this CD in Yesasia.
Theres a korean CD store where i live.
And I bought it there.
But anyways.
This is a great CD.
Worth buying.
I love all the songs on there.
It was nice.

An Excellent Album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've listened to Mc Mong's vol.1-3 and I have to say that in my personal opinion, vol.3 is his best album to date. I love every single one of his songs on this one.

Just a brief blurb on some tracks: the first track is an into named "news" and it's pretty funny. Second track is his mutizen winning song "Ice cream"; it's a really fun, upbeat and addictive song to listen to.

I really love the collab tracks on the album; track 3 (ft. Lisa)!!, esp track 5 (ft. Park Hyo Shin)!!, track 10 ft. MayBee and track 12 ft. Ivy.

Other recommended tracks include 6 and 7.

The packaging is also really nice. The album flips open and on the left side there is the lyrics book and on the left side there is a double sided really long fold out of 2 mc mong photoshoot photos. The folders holding these two items are also made from mc mong cut outs. It's actually quite a creative packaging.

Both the content and packing are superb. I really love and recommend this album.
