Loverholic Robotronic in Japanese! After the Japanese version of Juliette, Korean male pop sensation SHINee is bringing their dance hit Lucifer to their Japanese fans as their third Japanese-language single. The single also includes their new Japanese version of the Danish funky dance tune Love Like Oxygen (also on their The SHINee World Korean-language album) as its B-side track.

This edition includes the original Korean version of both songs. It also comes with a trading card (one randomly chosen from five available styles) and a bonus DVD with the Lucifer music video, the Type B Dance Version of the Lucifer music video, as well as the Lucifer teaser.

2010年7月19日に韓国で発売された2nd Albumのタイトル曲「LUCIFER」は強烈で洗練されたリズム、すっきりとした清涼感が絶妙にブレンドされたSHINeeのキラーチューン。ヴォーカルのハモリによるリフが特徴であり、切れのあるパフォーマンスと相まって、絶大な人気を誇っている。

曲調はBreak Danceが流行した80年代のElectronicaを基盤に、メロディとシンセの旋律を現代的な要素で構成したUrban Electronica。作曲・アレンジは、韓国を代表する作曲家”ユ・ヨンジン”、そして、アメリカの作曲家RYAN JHUN、ADAM KAPIT、BEBE REXHAらが共同で制作。
歌詞の世界観としては、自己中心的な想いを愛だと勘違いして脅迫と懐柔を繰り返す、あたかも天使と悪魔の2つの顔を持った恋人を「LUCIFER」に例えている、そんなストーリー。　 日本語の歌詞では、その愛の解釈を胸に抱く一途な想いで描いている。揺れ動く心情や葛藤する愛を独特な表現で綴っているところに注目して欲しい。

また、カップリングに収録の「Love Like Oxygen」は2008年8月28日に発売された1st Album「SHINee WORLD」のタイトル曲。デンマークで人気を得ているMARTIN （MARTIN HOBERG HEDEGGAARD）のヒット曲「Show the world」をSHINeeだけの色で新しくリメイク。マイケル・ジャクソンを連想させるディスコサウンドとファンキーなリズム、そして、ブラックミュージックで使われるドラムビートが絶妙にブレンドされ、グルーヴィーなサウンドが誕生した。作曲は前作「JULIETTE」の作曲家でもある有名作曲家MIKKEL REMEE SIGVARDTが担当している。　また、「酸素」という響きと、日本で言う「空気のような」という比喩的表現の最上級という解釈で、「酸素のような」という表現を日本語詞にも取り入れ、SHINeeが持つ純愛感を絶妙に表現している。

SHINeeの3rd Singleに収録されている「LUCIFER」「Love Like Oxygen」は共に「愛」がテーマになっている。歌詞のストーリーにある様々な「愛」の表現を完璧に歌いこなす姿や中毒性のあるダンスビートと完璧なダンスパフォーマンスで、今作もSHINeeは日本の多くのリスナーに衝撃を与えることだろう。また、ビジュアルにおいても、洗練されていながら独創的、前衛的なファッション、アートワークで魅了していく彼らは国や言語を超越し、全てにおいて最高のパフォーマンスを届けている！

It was my first time buying something Shinee related and now I want everything XD
I loved this CD it has two of my fav soongs and the playbutton was such a nice add really, I wished it could have included the 4 songs but it was nice still .
This ver comes with the korean ver of the two songs so it was nice.

The DVD was awesome, I really liked it, the quality was breathtaking, seriously it's such a shame it's sold out, like I said, glad I got it =) best xmas present ever

Received my package a long time ago but still, just wanna make a review about this big hit single :). I purchased all 3 versions and I'm totally satisfied XD.

About the music, there's absolutely no complaints. Never thought Lucifer would sound so much better in Japanese XD. Love Like Oxygen is still as great as ever, only their vocals have improved so much then ♥. The limited A&B versions include the original Korean version of Lucifer and Love Like Oxygen.

About the DVD, the regular version includes some behind-the-scene sketches wherein everyone speaks Korean with Japanese subs which I don't understand at all, all 3 versions include the Teaser and MV, and the limited versions include different dance versions. Only great fact is that the quality is much much better than the videos we find on webs :). For the limited versions, the discs come in a twintray (with very nice cover) and for the regular version, the CD's plugged on the first page while the DVD's on the last.

About the visual, I just love it ♥. The regular version has a group postcard (cool) and the limited versions have random member photocards. (I got 2Min's LOL). The mini photobooks of the limited versions are the same and only have more pictures than the regular version. And WOW I must say the pictures of this single is even better than the Korean album XD!!!!!!!! The boys all dressed up in funky black outfits with blank, cold expressions and they were just so cool XDXDXDXD. Especially Onew looked so adorable :"3 (biased, hahaha)

Only thing I didn't really love is the "playbutton" included in the limited A version. It looked cute, but I still don't understand why we have to pay a lot more for a so-called MP3 player that can't have its content changed? Frankly speaking, big waste of money :/.

Still, this is definitely a recommended for all ShaWols! At least purchased the regular version, it's worthy!!!!!

Mine arrived three days ago....which is 9 days after it was released so I was a bit surprised since was earlier than the specified date for arrival.Anyway i'm happy.
It was my first time ordering from YesAsia and i'm quite satisfied with the delivery....the single arrived in good condition with no damage and also not forgetting to mention that the shipping was fast.

now to talk about the actual single.
the photobook is amazing.SHINee as always is just gorgeous.Key is just beautiful (yea i'm Key biased lol XD) I got a Onew photocard though i wanted a Key one but its okay since Onew is my 2nd fave. member :P.All of the pictures are really good.I mean who the hell can look so awesome in a party hat like Taemin right?

The songs are good.Lucifer could have been better had they been more fluent at japanese.LLO sounds really good in japanese.I'm loving the playbutton.The music video is amazing and everything else is perfect too9duh its SHInee we're talking about)....
