K-pop's most anticipated newcomer of the year, SM Entertainment's super boy band EXO makes their debut with the mini-album MAMA. Already well known to fans thanks to an extensive debut teaser campaign, the 12-member group is divided into EXO-K and EXO-M, and will storm the Korean and Chinese music markets simultaneously with Korean and Mandarin albums. K-pop subgroup EXO-K is formed by Se Hun, Chan Yeol, Su Ho, Baek Hyun, Kai, and D.O., while Mando-pop subgroup EXO-M is formed by Tao, Lay, Xiu Min, Lu Han, Kris, and Chen. this album is simply A M A Z I N G

<packaging< the cardboard hexagon cd and photobook holder was a brillant idea and was perfectly sticking with the EXO-thingy concept. also, the fact that the photobook wasn't with the lyrics (so it was only photos) was a new and refreshing idea cause it'S kind of unexpected in kpop CDs and more in western CDs. so packaging, a big plus!

the only thing is that it'S kind of fragile. if you pull it in and back too often the corner of the hexagon with bend, giviing the CD and akward look.

also, i was disappointed with the photobook who was kind of too short. i bought exo-k and exo-m's albums and it ended up having two totally different pics. exo-k got a cuter image while exo-m had the 'cool-guys' pics. it's sad but exo-k's pics were way more interesting that exo-m's.

but exo-m's version comes with small booklet featuring piyin lyrics.

overall, it's a great album!!

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I bought this CD, because it was the first time I ever bought anything from yesasia.com. But even if I did know what to look for, this CD would have blown my mind.

When you get the CD, it's just a white packet with the EXO logo and a pentagon designs. When you take out the fold-out that holds the CD, a card (mine was of the whole group), and a photobook, you'll have to unfold it. It too is also in the shape of a pentagon, and I personally thought that was really cool. They really are using the theme as much as they can. The fold-out has a picture of the group on one side and lyrics on the other.

While looking through the photobook, I was impressed by how cool it was. Personally, I think it went really well with the image that SM has been giving these boys. After looking at the photobook, I popped in the CD, and whoa. I already knew the first three songs because of the music videos (MAMA, What Is Love, and History), but the three unreleased songs (Angel, Two Moons, and Machine) were new for me. I'm not really into "Angel", just because I don't particularly care for the instrumental, but "Machine" makes up for that by being one of the best songs I have EVER listened too. Two Moons also always gets me feeling energized, and I love the use of the heavy base.

Something that is a little annoying with this CD is that when you take the fold-out out and then back in, it kind of folds the corners a little. Other then this, everything is amazing. It is well worth the money to buy this CD.

I ordered the EXO M China Version and since I already own EXO M and K in the Korean version I thought I should buy the EXO K China Version to complete it XDDD. I've been hearing that people only get VER. A photocards in their china version but I got a Version B photocard of Chen from the EXO M album so I guess it's just which ever one they decide to put in. Also these photocards are kinda thin and flimsy compared to the Korean versions. All in all i love EXO and it's a great buy for what you get so if you are a fan I wouldn't hesitate getting ^__^

Definitely a must buy!!
It came with a huge photo card with all the members and their
signatures!! i was so happy.
The songs themselves were amazing also.
the only down fall was that the photo booklet was a bit short and small..
but other then that great!!!
