朝鮮王朝時代。とある平和な村で、双子の姉妹が湖に落ちてしまい、妹のヒョジンは命を落としてしまう。姉のソヨンは九死に一生を得るが、意識不明の重体に。それから10年後、村で恐ろしい殺人事件が起こる。まさにその日、10年間意識不明だったソヨンが目を覚まし、暗闇から少女のむせび泣く声が聞こえ始め…。
