1980年代の学生たちの恋と喧嘩に明け暮れた日々をはつらつと描いた青春グラフィティ。「ARAHAN」のリュ・スンボムが、映画初主演ながら当たり役ともいえる"伝説の番長"役をいきいきと演じ、その個性を遺憾なく発揮している。共演は、「ガン＆トークス」「火山高」のコン・ヒジョンほか。韓流シネマ・フェスティバル2005上映作品。
美容院を営む母と暮らすチュンピルは、ムンドク高校を仕切る"品行ゼロ＝行儀最悪"の番長だ。子分たちに目を配り、たまり場である屋上を管理し、不良たちの社交場であるローラースケート場を見廻り、いたいけな学生を脅しては小金をせしめるという、結構多忙な毎日を送っている。そんな彼が、女子高の優等生、ミニに恋をしたから大変だ。以前からチュンピルに想いを寄せていたスケバンのナヨンは、次第に親しくなってゆく2人の様子に嫉妬して、ミニに激しい対抗心を抱くようになる。そして同じ頃、ムンドク高校の勢力図が、1人の転校生の出現で描きかえられようとしていた…。

Going to Moontak High School, Joong-pil sucks at school work and character. He is such a trublemaker, but he is willing to help fight for the weak. All he does at school is to kil time, and he is not serious about studying at all. He has never had a dream and plan for his life. He aimlessly live in idleness and does not know what his future lies. Forfunately, he bumps into a good student, Min-hee, going to the female High School adjacent to Moontak High School. Joong-pil starts learning how to play the guitar more or less because of her. However, due to the rumors spreading around at school, the only thing Joong-pil can do is to fight with another bully, Sang-Mahn, to get back his throne as a king there. Faced with this difficult situation, what decision will Joong-pil make?
