I just finished watching this series and it is really good. The reason I bought this series is because of barbara yung and michael miu and plus the good theme song from alan tam. The first episode is kind of dragging but after that the story line picks up and literally keeps you hooked to the series till the end. I agree seeing Barbara Yung Mei Ling series again really trigger inner tears in me because she is such a great actress but sadly she has passed away for 22 years. She is a big loss to tvb. Her works will always be unforgettable. Her smile is always dazzling. Her eyes will capture any guy attention. It sad to see her left us for so many years. On the other hand, Michael Miu just return to tvb to make series. All his recent series I have seen so far 賭場風雲 and 上海傳奇 are no comparison to his old ones. He just cant play those energetic lively roles he did 20 years ago but of course it normal since he is close to his 50s. Barbara and Michael do make a good on screen couple and I hope tvb will release this series again onto dvd with uncut scenes. This series is a must-buy |
