　　朱婉芳（袁潔瑩飾）為一名成績平平的中學生，與同學郭少珍（李麗珍飾）為好朋友。一次朱目睹一宗意外，被警方邀作目擊証人，朱得到校內溫老師的支持及鼓勵，毅然出庭作証卻被黑社會人物脅及恐嚇，索取巨款作賠償。朱無計可施，又不敢向父母及警方求助，幸好得郭挺身而出代自己付賠償款項。郭雖為學生，卻經不起金錢誘惑，為男友利用出賣肉體。其男友實為黑社會人物，郭因此深明黑幫勢力。朱得到郭之幫助，二人成績日漸低落，溫老師卻幫助她們。卻被黑勢力恐嚇，致被迫辭職……

　　Chu Yuen Fong (Yuen Kit Ying) is a typical Hong Kong school girl. She has a close friend and classmate Kwok Siu Chun (Lee Lai-Yui). One day, Yuen Fong witnesses a traffic accident. Encouraged by her kind and righteous teacher, Mr Wan (Lau chun Yan), Yuen Fong Plucks up her courage to testify in court. Her testimoney, however, comes out to be unfavourable to members of the underworld who threaten her for exchange of money. Unable to meet their demands, Yuen Fong is too frightened to tell her parents or the police. Unexpectedly, Siu Chun comes to her rescue by providing her with the money and the two girls become even closer friends....
