《愛的世界》為杜琪峰、韋家輝1990年作品，電影靈感來自經典西片Incompreso，故事由父子誤會，發展到香港高利貸的無法無天，講述李子良(劉松仁 飾)喪妻後，與兩個兒子(黃坤玄、鄭柏林 飾)相依為命，經濟拮据；李於是往馬場孤注一擲，豈料債台高築，高利貸更上門騷擾兒子。慘絕人寰的劇情接踵而來，催人熱淚。兩位童星大有來頭，為曾演《阿郎的故事》的黃坤玄及《柏林週記》的鄭柏林。榮獲：亞太影展最佳童星（黃坤玄、鄭柏林）
The Story Of My Son is an early collaboration between directing duo Johnnie To and Wei Chia-hui. In a new take of the Italian screen classic Incompreso, the story centers on the misunderstanding between the father and his two sons, while reflecting the ruthlessness of the Hong Kong loan sharks: Li Tzu-liang (Damian Lau) is newly widowed and leading an impoverished life with two young sons (Huang Kun-hsuan and Cheng Pak-lam). He attempts to make a fortune at the horse-racing track but is debt-laden, while his sons are harassed by debt collectors. More heart-wrenching events begins to unfold.
