《見鬼》彭氏兄弟監製，2R姊妹花首部擔正作品，加上新人梁俊一，彭順導演的一個 大膽嘗試，題材仍然是這兩兄弟最擅長的鬼魅心理疑團，令觀眾從心驚出來。彭順導演的《死亡寫真》努力刻劃一個清麗少女的變態心理，而2R突破青純玉女歌手的形象，在處女作《死亡寫真》有不少暴力與大膽鏡頭，表現優異，令全片別具特色。
由彭氏兩兄弟共同監製，彭順單拖執導的《死亡寫真》，大部份場景均在泰國拍攝，故事 講述一張意外相片，一段童年陰影，令詠琪(2R成員Race飾)陷入分裂狀態！她對死亡 形態攝影的沉迷，引發內存的暴力傾向，但一切在詠琪的眼中，又會變成美學……
在同性密友白皮(2R成員Rosanna飾)的指引下，詠琪才發覺自己的思想行為是錯誤， 但可怕的是，與此同時又出現了一個真正殺手迫近詠琪，而那殺手的思想行為又會是 同屬詠琪一樣！此刻更令詠琪再次陷入迷誤，世上原來不只是她一人如此！
殺手迫近帶來的壓迫感，不得不令詠琪設法脫險！她就用自己的認知與殺手進行了一 場比撕殺更可怕的心理戰！
此片另一個特色是在彭順執導的《死亡寫真》上映的同時，由彭發執導的黑色喜劇《阿孖有難》也是源自同一件於泰國發生的意外，一件事故，卻引發起兩個故事。此片亦是第34屆鹿特丹國際電影節參展影片之一。

Jiney is a photography student. One day on her way to school, a woman is knocked down by a car and died horribly. Jiney witnesses the accident and takes a photo of the scene. She experienced the excitement and satisfaction she never had and obsessed with photographing death. At the same time, Jiney receives a video tape which shows a girl was beaten to death. Before Jiney finds out what to do with her abnormal behavior and who sent her the weird tape, Anson, the one sent Jiney the tape, kidnap her. Will John kill Jiney or will Jiney become another John in some other days?

Excellent acting
| This is the only film I saw with 2R in it. I haven't watched their other films. This is a knockout of a film! The Wong sisters known as 2R are damn great, as well as the co-stars. Rosanne is convincing, Race is hypnotising! Race won her first ever nomination as best newcomer at this year's 24th Hong Kong Film Awards with this exceptional performance, but unfortunately she and the other three lost to "Butterfly"'s Tian Yuan. And what's with the boos she had received from the audience at this awards ceremony? Is it because she starred in a category III film with violence in it? I viewed the Hong Kong Film Awards website and she came a close second to winning the award. So she must be something. Please be fair to her. Thank you and God bless. |
