　　導演鮑學禮與亞洲影帝姜大衛又一得意之作。劇情描述一位正直勤奮及樂於助人之的士司機陳廣（姜大衛飾），因一次匪徒打劫銀行的行動，而被牽涉其中，遭警方誤會。其後與同行司機杜發（王鍾飾）一同搜集罪証，二人幾經波折，終於協助警方將匪徒繩之於法。

　　A year before Robert De Niro took the wheel, David Chiang Cruised the mean streets as Chen Kuang, a taxi driver whose adventures reveal Hong Kong's verve with wit, compassion, and not a small amount of adventure (well choreographed by martial-arts great Liu Chia Yung). Variety noted, "The directing and photography show flair, and the script shows thought... The Shaw Brothers are keeping up standards with this humorous, socially aware local production".
