秋霞 （香港版） VCD

　広東語ポップスの草分けとして1970年代後半に活躍し、81年に結婚引退したたシンガーソングライター・陳秋霞（チェルシー・チャン）主演の悲恋物語。この作品は当時、香港、台湾など中華圏を始め韓国など東南アジアでも大ヒットし、チェルシー・チャンは第14回台湾金馬奨において最年少で最優秀主演女優賞を獲得した。共演は鍾鎮濤（ケニー・ビー）。

　李秋霞は生まれつき体が弱く、それを案じた父・伯豪は親友である方医師に娘を診せる。診断の結果、秋霞には先天性の心臓疾患があることが判るが、伯豪は家族を不安にさせたくないという思いから、その事実を自分の胸にしまっておくことに。やがて成長した秋霞は、高校の卒業パーティで馬國輝という青年と知り合い、恋に落ちる。一方、彼女の妹・秋雲は方医師の息子・子良に密かな想いを抱いていたが、皮肉なことに子良の気持ちは秋霞に向けられていた。姉妹のあいだに感情のわだかまりが生じる中、秋霞は発作を起こして倒れてしまう。余命半年という事実を父・伯豪は妻だけに告げ、秋霞本人には隠し通そうとするが、彼女は自分の命が長くないことを自ら悟る。愛する恋人、愛する妹を悲しませたくないという最後の思いを貫くために、彼女がとった行動は…。

李秋霞幼患心疾，經其父李伯豪好友方醫生診斷後，證實為先天性不良心漏症，豪為免家人擔憂，故將此事藏於心底。霞在中學畢業會上認識了華僑馬國輝，互生情愫。方醫生之子方子良對霞心存愛意，而秋霞之妹秋雲卻也對良芳心暗許，因此雲恨霞奪之所愛，並於爭吵中推門壓著霞之手指，導致霞心病發作。豪聞霞只有半年壽命，將秘密告知妻子。霞與輝感情日深，互許愛意。霞無意間獲訊自己身患絕症，望臨終前與雲和好，並告知其深愛輝，姐妹情油然重生。為免輝日後哀痛，霞故意與良親熱，輝果誤霞變心，辭職回國。雲亦誤會倆人之關係，氣憤返家，無意中發現霞之日記，始知事情真相。聖誕假期，霞舉家出國旅行，步出機場，見輝迎面而來。在歡樂聲中，霞含笑倒逝輝懷中。

For many years, Mr. Lee has been keeping a secret from his wife and two daughters that his elder daughter,Chelsia, is having some serious heart disease. Only his good friend, Dr. Fong, who made the diagnosis knows about it. Chelsia meets Ma, an overseas Chinese, at her secondary school graduation ball and gradually they fall in love with each other. Doctor Ma's son Chileung, who grows up with Lee's daughters, is fond of Chelsia while the younger daughter Chelwin loves him. However, neither of their affection is returned. Thus Chelwin hates Chelsia and accidentally hurts Chelsia's fingers, leading to Chelsia's faint. Knowing that Chelsia only has six months to live, Mr. Lee imparts the secret to his wife, but still not the daughters. However, Chelsia gets it by chance. In order to reconcile with Chelwin, Chelsia declares she loves Ma, but not Chileung.Chelsia pretends to have fun with Chileung, and finally achieves her goal at Ma's misunderstanding and quits his job, returning to Korea. Chelwin also misunderstands her sister but finds out the truth through Chelsia's diary later. The whole family travels abroad during Christmas holiday. When they step out of the airport, they see Ma right there waiting for them. Finally, Chelsia passes away happily right in Ma's arms.
