《西遊記(貳)》製作龐大，耗資五千萬港元，結合出神入化的電腦特技及令人讚嘆的化妝技術和服裝造型，一時無兩。陳浩民接棒演繹孫悟空，與唐僧(江華)、豬八戒(黎耀祥)及沙僧(麥包)攜手上路取西經﹗
本劇分為《真假猴王》、《人蔘果》、《提籃觀音》、《小雷音寺》、《黑熊精盜袈裟》、《悟空三戲二郎神》、《玄裝救父》、《朱紫國傳奇》、《月光寶盒》及《萬妖皈依》等十個單元，風格輕鬆幽默，又饒富人情味，帶出善有善報、惡有惡報的訊息。
註：由於母帶已製作經年，故在製作VCD的過程中，必須進行調色、重新配樂及剪輯等後期工作。但所有後期工作均在有必要的情況下進行，並以不影響劇情為原則。

Bad money actor
| I really missed Dicky as he is the main focus of the movie and invented his own alived character. Without Dicky, I would rate this movie to Zero, but considering Pigsy had now carried the major comic part and the storyline is good - well the director had to focus on improving the storyline to attract the audience and replaced Pigsy on the comic bit. Why I rate Benny Chan to Zero as he was stiff & talk dump that Pigsy always won over the arguement now where Part I Dicky had always made the arguement alive, enjoyable and fun that made him and Pigsy very interesting. This monkey can't even compare with the evil monkey who managed to imitate Dicky's monkey-movement very good. Sandy is very good overall. The Master is also good by when compare with Ray Lui (who played the Dharma Master movie) he is a little bit stiff in movements, his facial acting is good-don't get me wrong, I also like him but RayLui is too marvellous in acting the Buddha character. |

| For those who cant read chinese, I wrote that this is really a classic. I like both Benny Chan and Dicky Cheung version. The storyline is just magnificant. The pig did a really good job too. I dont think any other versions even quest of the sutra that pig can compare to this hk version. The china version the pig does not stand a single chance. I really hope to see this series release on dvd one day maybe with english subtitles. I will definitely buy it. The vcds are good too if they still have stocks. |

| I think the packaging is really nice, all tvb packaging is great. All the stories are kept, only one or two scenes that are less than 45 sec is deleted. I am a bit okay with it, they're not important scenes. One of them is in the beginning everyone thought benny is king kong, so he pretend to be one and try to tease the pig and step on him. Another scene that is after the snow mountain and three eye, there should be a 5 sec scene where the snake is smirking in the background saying she will not give up and will kill the monkey no matter what it takes. Overall the sequel is fantastic. Only thing dont like is the way they rearrange the order of some of the stories. The evil monkey story should come after the fruit and goldfish/river story but they changed it and put it before those two. It kind of weird b/c when benny is defeated he thinks about the past how successful he was and he thought of how he defeated the fruits. If the fruit comes after, it means it hasnt occur yet then why would he be thinking about it already. I think tvb should make note of it if they plan to release the dvds in the future. Otherwise it a product that you must buy. |

Most unforgettable JTTW
Most unforgettable JTTW
| I cant believe it has already been 8 years, almost 9 since this series was made. All the stories are still vivid in my head, the crow, the snake, snow mountain. All of them are really fascinating. I am really happy that tvb finally released the sequel after they released the first one. This is a version that must be added to your collection of Journey to the west |
