　　美從小在保良局生活，長大後加入警察學堂，後來給盧警司看中，表面將美革扯，其實委派美入黑社會作臥底。梅父本來也是一名幹探，但嗜賭成性，為不願父親劣行被公開，梅被逼助權，潛入警隊做臥底。

　　重案組得悉一批毒品交收情報，結果雙方情報也被洩，警方行動失敗，毒品交易也不成功，雙敗而回，暴露兩方均有臥底的事實，引發黑白兩道清除內鬼的決心，而美和梅則在無間道旅程接受嚴峻考驗……

　　Kammy was raised in Po Leung Kuk and admitted to the Police Academy. Her background appeals to Inspector Lo, who dismisses her and sends her to the triad as an undercover.

　　Mui's father was a cop who was so indulged in gambling. Mui had no choice but to go undercover in the police force to help the King of Drugs Kuen, so as to keep her father's unscrupulous work a secret.

　　Lo and Mui are about to crack down a drug trafficking deal in an operation. Kuen receives intelligence and thus terminates the deal right away. The operation fails. Both Lo and Kuen come to realize the existence of an undercover sent from the other party, and they both swear to pick the guy out...
