　　本片為劉家良自導自演，倪匡編劇，由劉家輝飾少年黃飛源，陳觀泰飾陸阿采，另有武打明星汪禹及李麗麗合演。故事描述，黃祺英為洪熙官師弟陸阿采之弟子，惟其怕兒飛鴻學武闖禍，拒將所學傳諸於子；後飛鴻的武學熱誠，感動了捕頭袁正（劉家榮），特薦給陸，飛鴻終得償拜陸習武宿願，父子同師，傳為佳話……

　　After Lui Chia-liang's (a.k.a Lau Kar-Leung) first film as director. The Spiritual Boxer, was a huge hit, Liang decided to make the greatest tale of Wong and his "sifu" (teacher) ever filmed. He made a star of his adoptive brother, Gordon Liu, in the leading role, and filled the cast with family members, friends, students, and the best Shaws had to offer. he even played the villain himself. The result was more Liang magic, with an honorable message of righteousness that rings true through the decades.
