改編自真人真事的香港三大奇案，華山執導的「血濺吊頸嶺」，程剛執導的「灶底藏屍」，何夢華導演的「龍虎武師」均是轟動一時的大案。其中「灶底藏屍」最能拍出陰森詭異氣氛，女阿玲被殺一場，最為驚心動魄。所謂「奇案」實則是悲劇，反映七十年代香港社會低下層的苦況。當中一集「龍虎武師」乃由才子蔡瀾編劇，恬妮一人分身兩角，劇情峰迴路轉……

This anthology features three evocative stories ("Hidden Torsos," and "Valley of the Hanged" are the first two), but kung-fu fans can't miss the third segment, "The stuntmen," which actually takes place inside the Shaws' martial arts movie unit.
