Utada has really worked hard on this album, in terms of musical composition. It is impossible to forget any of the chorus medlys in this album after the first listen. December 23, 2005 Pretty GoodI think TWINS vocals are the best in this album. Gillians voice is better than Charlene's in my opinion, and more mature. This single reminds me of American music, with powerful Ayu vocals (better than ever), in both songs. But it will take a while for you to get used to BnD, because it is so un-Ayu!! But nevertheless it's a fun and awesome song. Pride sounds like one of those old classic love songs, with a sad touch to it. You must also get this single because of the great remixes. You will like the remixes if you were dissapointed with the ones in the 'fairyland' single. The BnD PV was pretty awesome too, again something different but interesting. December 23, 2005 A Very Good DebutApart from the fact that a lot of the songs are covers, Cyndi Wang shows great singing skill in this deubt. In MUSIC Mika sings a buffet of varieties, showing off her skills!! Of course, the single songs are unmistakably masterpieces of Mika, but I would like to add album songs 'Fed Up'. 'Hitori', 'Kumo no Ito" to the hit-list. The jazzy songs are not as good as the ones in Mika's LOVE album, but all other songs are wonderful. You would never get tired of listening to this album. I find her voice very versatile, as to I find it difficult to explain why I love Mika's voice so much. I must add that the album pictures are veryyy creative- just like any other Mika photo shoots!! December 23, 2005 Landy WenThis is my first purchase from Landy Wen. The two CDs are separated between ballads and pop songs. I'd much prefer Landy sing ballads, because the fast songs sound kind of strange to me-not her style maybe? But don't get me wrong, Landy is WONDERFUL in the ballad/love songs. Her deep voice reminds me of Elva Hsiao, which is quite rare in the Cpop world nowadays. You must listen to Landy if you're tired of the bland goody-girl voices. Did you find this review helpful? Each song is sung with so much passion and energy! Ami Suzuki's style is mainly techno/eurobeat which dance music fans will enjoy a little, in addition to Ami's passionate/deep vocals. I can't help but to sing along to songs like Hopeful, Around the World, Negaigoto, and etc. I never knew that Ami could dance so well, before watching the DVD! The eventful dance track was my favorite. Ami blends in hip-hop/para dance together wonderfully. Bonus off-shots are also included, so you can see the cute Ami in-making. The booklet is a little creepy to me, but that does not matter. Ami writes her own lyrics!! The lyrics are really meaningful too, if you read the Chinese translation. Take a trip w/ Ami Suzuki!!! December 23, 2005 Female Voice!You'll think, "how does she do that?!" after hearing Ruppina's near-perfect soprano voice. I've never heard any female voice as a clear and 'high' as Ruppina's. Most of her songs are hopeful in tone, for easy listening. You can get this best album now for a very low price (japan version!) which is what I got. The DVD is very nice too because it includes a mini-live and I never seen Ruppina sing live before. And to say the truth, she's good singing live! The PVs are a little bland, but the image quality is good, and I guess fancy PVs just aren't Ruppina's style. A very nice collection for new fans! Most songs are dance music in genre, with powerful Namie vocals. The song that stands out the most to me is "dreaming i was dreaming'. It's a very strange/unique song that you listen to during the night. All others are singles that you've already heard from Amuro in her early albums. Every song is great.
