September 30, 2006 GoodLee Homs prior Cd probably more memorable to me. This Cd finally gave him the recognition but some of the song just lacked creativity. Why that foolishness with Jin? When was the last time he was a recognized rapper. Big City small love is the signature song and only great song in this album. Others were all relative average. Even though this is the album in which he finally got his proper recognition and most deservingly so but please go litsen to his prior Cds instead. They are of much higher quality.... September 30, 2006 Too longThis should be a 20 ep. drama. It is almost unbelievable how they keep saying Zai Zai has 3 months and seemingly every chapter it still is 3 months remains. Why andy Hui??? He is a terrible actor. What kind of Mandarine was he speaking? Zai Zai does display a great array of difference of his acting from his prior series. He does have range to be a terrific actor... The korean actress does look good and has potential also. She was very cute in Dae Jang Keum. The series itself was a top notch series upto somewhere around episode 15. September 30, 2006 A little overratedSome of the concept of the movie was very intriging to say the least. The cast all displayed high volume of artistic ability. September 30, 2006 Too goodSingle greatest movie ever. It was laughters and tear jerkers. The character Jeon depicted helped draw out the dream girl of my teens out there. She was just so funky. Where can you find a great movie such as this, in which the whole stoyline seems so fitting. Just wondering if it will reach world wide regcongnition. The U.S has purchased the right for a remake but come on, can you really imagine anyone out doing Jeon? This movie is a collectors item and one that is not just for a one time watch... She rarely places out movies and whenever it does come out, there is high expectation. Maybe the expectation was just place too high before watching it. The plot itself seems simple and almost ridiculous but the way it was presented was just so refereshing. Every part was either heart warming or just flat out hilarious. Some of the scenes just plays over and over again in your head and gets you laughing in the public for no reason. The soundtrack was so fitting and just so great. Sometime you might as well watch the drama just to litsen to the music. Well, 183 club itself, lacks anyone that is truly a musical talent alone but together they put out some well rounded music. September 30, 2006 Did not see this comingTruthfully the Condor Hero epic has been redone and redone, that each time would seem hard to create anything new. The cast of Huang Xiao Ming and Liu Yi Fei was as strong as it can get. The show itself really took off when Yuan Guo grew up, thus if you know this story already, just skip past the childhood Yuan Guo. Every scene with H.X.M and L.Y.F together was just goegeous. The scenery itself is captivating. The music is haunting and fits perfectly. Some of the side casts are strong in their own ways. Though of course it is questionable some of the rewriting of this story, especially in the novel it self, L.Y.F is not suppose to ever cry because every time she cries, she is suppose loose years off her power. But the tears she shedded in the show was just so beautiful. This definitely gives a different feel to the Andy Lau and Idy Chan's R.O.C.H but both are great in its own format. The Louis koo one should never even be discussed among the series of R.O.C.H. This is definitely one of the top remakes of classics in recent years. Did you find this review helpful? September 30, 2006 Tops in Asia musicThe song "Dad, Im back" was the song that captured my attention toward Jay. It's hard to rate something as good as "fantasy" itself. "Still Fantasy" is a formable CD but it is incomparable to "Fantasy." Track 1,2 and 3 are almost automatic hits. Those 3 tracks are each unique and catchy in its own ways. Upon the first litsen of this CD, serveral song got me questioning is this really Jay's music. Track 6 and 9 chose very awkward melodies, thus it took serveral times through to get use to it. Track 6 actually became quite a good litsen to. Track 7 and 10, many people claims to love it because it is a "different" jay since he delivered in a clear voice. But track 7 and 10 would not be one of my top Jay musics. Track 8 and 5 are both respectable songs and depending on your preference of music, they might be one of your favorite. Track 8, gave the feel as to Romantic Cellphone. Track 4, is a sloppy song and Jay always seem to find one song like that in every one of his CDs where it is just not a good song. The CD does display Jay's continuous effort to explore new and creative ideas within the asian music industry.
Definitely one of the top CD of the year. This would be an 5 star CD if anyone else release it but because it is Jay, it is easy to get spoil. Sometime the standard just seem unrealistic even for Jay to reach. Jays best CDs would goes according to 1)Fantasy 2) Common Jasmine Orange 3)Jay Album 4) Still Fantasy and evenly Eight Dimension 5)Yu Hui Mei 6)November Chopin....Did you find this review helpful?
