December 20, 2006 Very good! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
There are many good songs on this CD, I liked track 1, 6, 10 and 12 a lot. The remix of Koibumi is a lot better than the original in my opinion. There were 3 songs that I didn't like, they had annoying music. "Treat and Goblins" was just awful. The better songs had good music and nice melodies.

December 19, 2006 Beautiful voice! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This guy truly has a "famous pop-star" voice and some of the songs are really good. There's some ballads and some pop/rock songs. The songs are nice, I didn't find a favorite song, but I can still listen to this CD thanks to his beautiful voice.

December 15, 2006 Not my kind of songs Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
She has a nice voice and the music is good, but I didn’t like any of the songs. They don’t have an original melody, so the songs just don’t feel special to me. There was no song that stood out; they all felt kind of casual. The CD wasn’t horrible, but these kind of songs isn’t to my liking.

    December 13, 2006 Fantastic! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I truly love this album, every song is great. Gackts voice is fantastic, I just love listening to "Emu ~for my dear" and "Asrun Dream" because he sings with such emotion. I owned all the Mars-singles before I bought this album, and it was definately worth buying this album for the album exclusive tracks. I especially love "Ares", "Emu ~for my dear", "Asrun Dream", "Vanilla", "Mirror", "Oasis", "Dears" and "U+K". "illness illusion" is weird, but it's very a very cool song.

December 8, 2006 Love it! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I really like "Mirror", it's upbeat and has such great music! I love the violins in this song! The melody is also great. The other song "Blue (piano solo)" is beautiful. It sounds a little sad, but that is what makes it so great. I love both songs on this single.

December 8, 2006 Cool song Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
"Real Emotion" is my favorite song and the reason I got the CD. Great vocals, music, melody - everything!
But the other song, while the vocals and melody are great, the music is annoying and boring. It's an occasional plink and dink, and for me it ruins the song.

    December 8, 2006 2 good songs! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The main song has a very catchy melody, Hikki's voice is bad in some parts, but I can listen to people singing bad without minding it, so I just don't think about it.
The second song, honestly, freaks me out a little. The only part I understand is "I want you baby". Thankfully I don't understand the rest of the song, because the song sounds so cool! It has great melody and music.

    December 8, 2006 Awful! Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
Hikki who usually have catchy melodies to her song! These songs are boring, have no melody and the music is almost nothing. I don't understand japanese, but I wouldn't listen to these songs even if they had the greatest lyrics on earth. A total waste of money!

December 8, 2006 Beautiful song! Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Strangely, this song was the first I ever heard from Mai, and it's very different from her other songs. She tries to make a strong and beautiful ballad, but honestly, she dosen't have the voice for this song. She dosen't have that "extra" to make the song powerful. It's still dreamy and one of my favorite songs by her. I love the melody! But the other songs didn't impress me at all, so I lowered the overall score.

December 8, 2006 Good CD, but not Masterpiece Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I wouldn’t call this CD “masterpiece”, but “12 good songs” sounds silly. There are some really good songs here like “Moon”, “Angel”, “Summer Game”, “Jealousy” and “Taste of Money”. The other songs aren’t bad, but they aren’t “wow” good either. “Alison” is a “you need to understand the lyrics” romantic song, so I get kind of bored with it after a while since I don’t understand Japanese and there’s really not a melody to the song, he kind of “talks”. None of the songs are awful though, they are all nice, so it’s still a good CD.

December 4, 2006 Alright, but too many fillers Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This album isn't so bad, there are some really good tracks like "Scanner" and "D.O.D (drink or die", but the other tracks just didn't amaze me. Maybe you need to understand what he sings to appreciate the song more. But there are so many fillers on this album, and they are not interesting at all. One is 30 seconds and just some guitars, after like 10 seconds has passed! So there's like 20 seconds of music, not interesting. But the worst of it all is a 17 minutes (I'm not joking about this one) ending filler. It's just the same one minute song over and over. Why bother making it at all? The other songs are alright, I listen to them now and then.

  • December 4, 2006 Fantastic music Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I usually don't listen to instrumental tracks, especially if they don't have a good melody, but the music is a masterpiece. There are some silly tracks too, but my most favorite is the dark/mysterious music. There are some very powerful songs here. I've listened to this albums hours upon hours, I never grow tired of this music.

December 4, 2006 Great song, but endles... Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
This song has such a gorgeous melody, I don't understand the lyrics, but from Emiko Shiratori's cover, it sounds beautiful. Misia's vocals are perfect and powerful! But I have a big problem with this song, it's just so endlessly long. It's almost 8 minutes long, and it just gets so repeative after a while. If the song actually changed a little in music maybe I could stand it, but it actually becomes less interesting after 3 minutes. There are also some bad remixes along with this single.

December 4, 2006 Really good Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I must admit, at first I thought Ai's voice was really childish, but she is a great singer. Now I love her childish voice with her rock/pop style music. This album was really good, there was two songs that I couldn't stand listening to, but I like the others.
My favorite are "Sakuranbo" and "Amaenbo", the songs have very cool and beautiful melodies. Some other songs were also really cute!

December 4, 2006 Great songs! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
At first I was dissapointed with the main song, it was so pop! But the melody and Gackts vocals are gorgeous, so I grew to love the song!

Cube is a rock track, and this single is the only way to get it. This song is awesome, rock and mysterious at the same time. I loved this song first time I heard it! It's one of my favorite Gackt songs.

    December 4, 2006 2 great songs! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"Secret Garden" is a, it's hard to tell what it really is, I would call it a slow rocksong. It has a mysterious feeling over it and I love Gackt's voice.

"Nine Spiral" is a metal song and very noisy. At first I didn't like it, but I grew to love it. There's some weird screaming and laughter in some parts of the song, the laughing is so strange, it's really high-pitched and... weird. My friend who listens to metal music liked this song, and she dosen't listen to any other Gackt songs.

December 4, 2006 Boring album Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
I bought this album because it looked all pretty with the flowers and I heard Globe was a great band. This album is so bad! The songs are very repeative, it's the same music for a whole minute. There's barely any melody in any song, and when there's no melody I get bored of the song right away. Some songs are also 7 minutes long, that's way too long for a song. Songs should be 3-4 minutes, otherwise they just become annoying. Where's the joy in repeat if the song never ends?
There is, however, one of the coolest songs I have heard. Instead of a trance song like most of the tracks, there's "Sa Ya Na Ra", a rocksong. It has a very cool/funky melody and I like the singers voice. I love this song, so at least I got something good from this album.

December 4, 2006 Fantastic album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I usually skip a track or two on an album, but I love every single track on this album! Even the instrumental track was very cool. Most of the tracks have an original melody to it, which is what I love most about songs. The music was great. Sweetbox original songs had bad/weak music, but Ayu's versions are more powerful. My favorite songs are Bold & Delicious, Pride, Heaven, Fairyland, Step You amd Ladies Night. The other tracks, though not being my absolute favorite, are also great. I can listen to this album over and over for weeks.

    November 1, 2005 Beautiful Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was my first Ayumi Hamasaki CD, I knew she was popular, but I didn´t know what to start with. I´m glad I started with this, because I love this CD!
Ayumis voice is very beautiful, and she is a great singer. Of all the songs on this CD, there was just one that I didn´t like 100%, the rest are all my favorites. “Rainbow” is my favorite; I think it was also only released on this CD. One word to describe this song is “magical”, I don´t understand a word of the Japanese, but the music, melody and song are in perfect harmony. “Voyage” is my second favorite, it starts out with a music box playing the chorus melody (I love music boxes!), and this song also has an orchestra playing. The melody is just as beautiful as the music, and I truly feel like I´m standing in a fantasy paradise. No matter if it´s dark or raining outside, this song brings sunshine to my life. “Dolls”, “Seasons” and “Dearest” are also songs that I play a lot. This is one of the few CDs I put on and can play all day; usually I skip some tracks because they bore me. But here, everything is beautiful. This is one of my favorite CDs.

November 1, 2005 Fantastic music Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It´s no surprise that Chrono Cross is a great soundtrack, Yasunori Mitsuda who made the music for Xenogears, made the music for Chrono Cross!
Just like Xenogears, this album has very pretty music for a Playstation game, the songs also have pretty melodies. My favourite songs are “Star-Stealing girl”, which I think was the theme of Kid. It´s a sad song, and in some parts a girl sings “La, la la la…”. When she dosen´t sing, there´s a pretty flute playing. “Zelbess” is a big ship in the game. First time you arrive, there´s boring music, but next time there´s a happy, catchy song instead. The catchy song actually made me go back a few times to check if I *really* didn´t have to complete anything on the ship, because I love that music-piece so much! There is also some great boss-theme songs, “Orphanage of Flames” being one of my favorites. It´s a very dramatic piece of music, because the hero is in a burning orphanage. You actually only hear this song in that particular orphanage, so I was glad this song was on the Soundtrack. The opening theme for the game is also great, it starts out slowly with a flute and guitars, but changes to a more dramatic, powerful song. I have many, many more favorites on this soundtrack, probably over 20 other songs. The music is really beautiful, and I recommend this soundtrack.
