This group didn't bring to Japanese music anything new, they were 5 cute teens singing commercial pop exactly like Morning Musume. There are 5 songs which stands out in this compilation : Lolita Strawberry in summer, Love Raspberry Juice, oursong, on the way and Color of tears. I can easily forget the other ones. January 30, 2009 Great combo!I think I'll buy this version (best Japanese album+American debut album). Usually I buy regular editions of everything because they are cheaper, but this time I'll do an exception. First of all because the american album is too interesting for not buying it and unfortunately the 1 CD only version doesn't include ''KEY OF HEART'' and ''Sparkling''. ç.ç It's absolutely a must have, I can't wait ! January 27, 2009 A step backwardThis album is a step backward compared to ''Kingdom'' which was a very solid album with almost all the tracks of single quality. I enjoyed ''Moon Crying'', ''TABOO'' and ''stay with me'' very much but the album tracks are for the most so and so. I think ''Driving'', ''This is not a love song'' and ''Ai no Kotoba'' are the best between the new tracks. ''Bling Bling Bling'' is curious, at first listen it sounds damn catchy but after some listenings it sounds mediocre. In conclusion ''TRICK'' is a good album but not excellent like ''Kingdom''. These guys could make a lot of excellent songs even without the help of an excellent song writer like Gisho. My favourite songs between the new ones are ''Kimi e'', ''WOLF MAN'', ''Hit Ended Run'', ''true sky'' and ''RED MOON'' (this one could be without problems a single, considering the very high quality), it's so hard to choose between all these good songs. Also what I like about this album is that Chisato's backing vocals are almost in all songs. The more they become old, the more they become good ! Go on PENICILLIN ! Did you find this review helpful? I like the fact that, even if this is an album dedicated to only one style of music, I don't find it annoying or uninspired, you start with the ''hip-pop'' title track, you go on with the ethnic style of ''WANT ME, WANT ME'', the pop of ''WoWa'', the R&B for ''I Wanna Show You My Love'' and ''GIRL TALK'' and songs like the ballad ''ALL FOR YOU'' or the pop ''ALARM'' doesn't make the album sounding monotonous. November 30, 2008 They are surprisedly goodIt's basic R&B but good R&B. Every song has got a catchy tune, I like the mix between the lyrics and music, Heartsdales are also good song writers. November 30, 2008 Schwarz Stein legend goes on ...
Kaya was the vocalist of the dark wave band Schwarz Stein, in 2006 he got into a solo career but basically his style hasn't changed that much, it's still techno/dance but less dark and more commercial. I think this fact makes happy new and old fans, Kaya's voice is great as always, the songs are all good and catchy and I like the new version of ''Carmilla'' better. Nice album. Overall it's a pretty good best album. My favourite tracks are : Over The Rainbow, So Into You, Next to You, Finding My Road and Love Story.

October 29, 2008 It rocks!After the latest pop singles, I feared Anna was going into the pop direction and instead this album is full of of amazing rock tracks ! There are some songs which are single quality : first of all ''masquerade'' then ''BLOOD ON BLOOD'', ''RIDE ON!'' and ''Style''. I had never listened before to the deep sadness version of ''Kuroi Namida'' and I find it gorgeous, I was a little dissappointed by the singles but the album is excellent and overall it's rock ! October 13, 2008 I don't understand the hate ...Probably because the lyrics sometimes are awful (Easy Breezy) or dirty (The Workout) but I don't understand what's wrong with this album for most of you and it's not monotonous either. There is the pop of ''Easy Breezy'', the pop/rock of ''Devil Inside'', the ethnic sound of ''Exodus '04'', the techno/dance of ''You Make Me Want To Be A Man'', the R&B of ''Let Me Give You My Love'' and ''Kremlin Dusk'' is probably the most beautiful song composed by Utada in her entire career. It's a well done album, probably the ones who hate this album are the same who loves the boring ''Flavor Of Life Ballad Version-''. There isn't bad music at all included in Hikki first English album. September 30, 2008 Cool single !''TABOO'' is a very catchy R&B/dance track, who loves songs such ''BUT'' and ''FREAKY'' will like this for sure ! September 17, 2008 They selected well !I think they chose the right songs to make this type of album. There are more R&B than the SINGLE BEST and since I adore R&B I find this best album wonderful ! Now we have to choose between the 2 editions, the price makes me want to get this and I don't really care about the live DVD ... but unfortunately this edition doesn't include the 48-pages booklet with all the covers from each single. Hard choice. What's wrong with this single collection ? Only one little thing, ''Together When...'' is not included, ok it's a digital single but it's a single !
