September 23, 2007 Absolutely wonderful!!What can I say? First of all, I would really like to thank the producers who decided to put chinese subtitles onto this dvd, because I was able to thoroughly enjoy the documentaries, which ended up to be really really cute! It shows a lot of touching and funny scenes that happens behind the stage. The concert itself was also amazing, and I only wish it was a bit longer. Their live singing was quite impressive, and I was certainly quite surprised with Shige's performances, which ended up to be quite entertaining. Their solos were also amazing, Massu's Pumpkin song was awfully cute, whereas Ryo's rock performance was mind-blowing~ I love his rock voice.
The First press limited edition also comes with a booklet filled with the members pictures and scenes from the concert.

September 23, 2007 Excellent!I absolutely love this single. The title song 'Kiss-kaerimichi no love song' is very catchy and the lyrics are very sweet. I absolutely love their title song Lies, it is extremely catchy. The packaging is also very interesting and unique. Again, they managed to produce some new catchy tunes, all of which are now my favourite songs. The only down side of this product was that there were only 3 new songs, and most of the other ones were all old songs recorded live at their concert.
The DVD also gave a good insight on the making of their 'Leave the Earth' MV, and some clips from their concerts.
Overall, I was really pleased with this CD and I sincerely hope that Mayday will release their full concert on DVD soon!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

August 6, 2007 Not bad...Leehom is a great musical talent and what I love about him is that he's not afraid to try new sounds and styles. However, for me, this album felt more like a transition stage...the songs were good, but none really jumped out at me apart from 'Change my ways' and the duet with Selina, where he actually sang a bit in Taiwanese, which sounded rather fresh.
Apart from that, I'm also impressed that he's trying to promote environmental protection with his CD.
Overall, it's worth adding to my collection of Leehom CDs, and I'm really looking forward to his next album with great interest.

(8)Our Price: US$17.49Related promotions:July 31, 2007 Good!Overall I thought this single was pretty good. The title song is catchy, and I was quite impressed with how they changed their styles for Boom!Boom!Power and Akai Hana - it's certainly a bit different from their old songs.
The DVD that comes with this single is probably the main highlight, featuring 3 performances from their spring concert '06 - they all gave great, energetic live performances - very enjoyable to watch. It also features a clip from the filming of the photojacket - I guess the only thing is that I wish it had some kind of subtitle, so that I could understand what they were saying. I was also slightly disappointed with the cd booklet that came with the single, as I was expecting more photos and more uniqueness in the booklet design/layout....

As to the CD, it's good but I guess I was slightly disappointed, because the first song that got me into FTIsland was 'FTIsland' - and it was a very boppy, rocky type song...I guess I was looking forward to more of that type of song. Their CD does have a nice share of deep heavy ballads that remind me of SGWannabe-style songs. My fave song would be 'First Kiss' - it's very nice and sweet. July 9, 2007 Fresh!I just received this today, and I have to say, I was very impressed with JJ's new album. The title song is very catchy (although a bit controversial!~), and throughout the album you can hear him try several new types of music styles, like hiphop in track 5 and 7, beatboxing and of course those lovely ballads. His vocals have improved immensely as well~ With regards to the packaging, I have to say it's quite nice - the poster is nice and big and the necklace reminds me of the type that you get from surfing shops - it looks very cool ^^.

Overall the DVD quality was good. The only thing I didn't really like was how they dubbed over the actors/actresses voices, so much that it did get a little annoying. This was especially the case when they dubbed over Jiang Hwa and Tang Ling's normal voices with other cantonese voices. I was also unsure of whether they dubbed over Jimmy Lin's voice (it's hard to tell). Anyway, apart from the dubbing, everything else was good.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The other thing that I found annoying was that the visual and audio weren't really in sync (??)

May 30, 2007 Great album
Overall, this was an excellent album. All the songs are very catchy, particularly their title songs 'Born to Love', 'Angel' and 'Perfume'. The DVD is also of good quality, which is a bonus. Their songs were alright, but the highlight of the product was probably the DVD that it came with. The DVD talks about how the members think of each other and a lot of other behind-the-scenes stuff. The CF that they did for the biscuits was very cute! It would have been much better if they included all the MVs of Fahrenheit in the DVD. The calendar cards were also smaller than I thought, however I think they will be very useful as bookmarks because of their size :P.

May 30, 2007 Excellent, creative album!This is the first SHE album that I bought and I have to say, it was excellent.
All the songs are creative in their own way, and also they used a lot more rap. I especially love their main song, 'Chinese words', which used a lot of chinese tongue twisters, and also 'Excuse' which incorporated Jay Chou's themes and titles into the song.
With regards to the quality of the product, the DVD that it came with was nice and clear (and karaoke too!) The only criticism I would give is that my puzzle was very bent by the time that I received it. Otherwise the package was perfect. The extra single with Fahrenheit 'Always Open' was also handy in that the song kept replaying itself over and over until you stopped the machine (handy when you don't want to keep re-pressing the play/repeat button).Did you find this review helpful? April 21, 2007 Good Effort!The concert was, in general, very good. They sang all their songs live and also Jinusean comes on as a guest as well. Their dances and movements are very cheeky and cute!
The only downside of the DVD is that they don't have any english subtitles for the skits (which looked like they were very funny...but I can't understand it!)

April 21, 2007 Good!Being their first concert, I thought that they did a really good job. Firstly, the crops and background effects were magnificent! I also liked how they had chinese subtitles, as I was finally able to understand all the song lyrics and their ments.
Some downsides of the dvd is that sometimes the audio quality is annoying because they would fade out all the other members voices and only let you hear clearly the person who is singing the main tune - therefore when they sing the acapellas it doesn't sound as good.Did you find this review helpful?
