March 7, 2001 Really Good Album
Ronald has created a really good album here.He has a super voice very defined and sensitive and the backing music is very open and is just that...backing.Track 9,"Broken China" sung in English is a very nice song and perfectly sung. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
March 7, 2001 Nice
He has a gentle voice well suited to ballads and he handles the up tempo stuff nicely to but all except two tracks are easy listening/slow.This CD is not the kind of music I'd play frequently but it is nice to have in my collection to play now and again for some contrast.Maybe this could work in reverse for you...try something like the Eason Chan 68'29"album and have a blast.Honestly diversity really is the spice of life. Made in Heaven
February 24, 2001 Made In HeavenThis is a nice book of pictures featuring Takeshi, containing some comments he has written about himself and his family. This is a quality item which transcend beyond the usual simplistic type of books you see on the famous. This book is very much an artistic project with full imput by Takeshi in conjunction with the photographer and production team. Colour and black and white pictures. Well worth the expense and may well appeal to those other than fans of Takeshi. I would rate this more than 10 if it were possible on this review. Did you find this review helpful? This CD I bought was contained in an attractive slip cover with, the CD within the back of a nice little hard back picture book and also contained 4 nice collector's postcards. You'll be singing "Tell Laura I Love Her" for weeks after listening to this album.Every song on this CD is great.I can't express just how good it is,really nice music and my copy contained a nice cover/mini booklet with several pages of nice pictures. February 24, 2001 One of my top favorate albums
This is a really nice album, I hope Compact Discs don't wear out with use for if they do. then you may as well buy two copies of this one now because this album really is that good. you will play it so often. This is a really nice big collection of songs on one CD. This is one of 4 albums I have by Takeshi. I only wish I could buy more of his CD's. Takeshi is a really nice singer who has done some interesting music, I hope he comes back from the movie scene to record some more material. I'm sure it would be well received. February 24, 2001 Viva by Nicholas Tse
The song "Senses"track 10, sung in English is in my opinion really bad, I find it hard to believe Nicholas can transend from near perfection which is a valid discription of the other tracks on this album to something like that.(I only speak/understand English and realise it has it's place but please not within the music of a great artist as Nicholas).
