July 9, 2006 Eh..I think this concert was OK. Most of the costumes were actually kind of ugly and Ayu's hair wasnt very nice either. However, Ayu's vocals are as great as ever and the show isn't too bad as a whole. There are some very great parts of the concert such as Ayu's emotional performance of "Memorial Address" and her dancing in "Real me". I think if you absolutely LOVE all the songs in the tracklist, then you might enjoy the concert more than I did. Many other people love this concert, and I don't really know why. You be the judge! July 9, 2006 I love it!This is the first Ayu concert DVD I ever purchased, and I was very impressed with it. The concert starts off with a lazer show and Ayu comes out in a military uniform. All the costumes are really nice and Ayu has tons of fun. It's not elaborate like the Arena Tours but it's still a favorite of mine and the show is great. Did you find this review helpful? July 9, 2006 Alot of awesome videos!Look at that tracklisting! You get SO many videos! All the videos are from Ayu's first few albums, and they're all very well done and creative. This item is now especially appealling for fans since the Complete Clip Box is out of Print and they can get a ton of videos like this for such a low price! My favorite videos from this DVD are "poker face" "YOU" "WHATEVER" "LOVE ~Destiny" "Boys & Girls" "appears" and "Fly High". Don't forget, this item is limited edition, so get it before its too late! July 9, 2006 Very very good.I bought this DVD back in December and I liked it alot. Ayumi's vocals are near perfect throughout the entire concert and her costumes are pretty nice too. This concert has a real summer feel since it was filmed in an outdoor stadium! The show itself isn't as spectacular as an Arena Tour or Dome Tour but trust me, it's just as good. It has alot of fan favorite songs from throughout her entire career. My favorite part of the dvd was the "medley", when Ayu performed a whole bunch of her older songs and the dancers wore the outfits from her Concert Tour 2000. Ayu seems to have so much fun in this concert and she really gets the crowd going! This DVD is an Ayumi classic. Its a must buy for any fan of Ayu! Did you find this review helpful? July 2, 2006 DissapointedI bought this DVD last month and all I have to say is that I was very very dissapointed.. Ayumi's vocals were very screechy, whiny, and kind of annoying.. Plus the special effects were hardly interesting. And since there are only like 3 or 4 upbeat songs in the concert it was actually quite boring. Plus, there was hardly any interaction with the crowd during the main performance.. April 30, 2006 OMG!!This album is just AMAZING.. There's no other word to describe it. It starts off with the title track "Around the World" which is a lyrical masterpiece and the music just puts you into another world. "Hopeful -OVERHEAD CHAMPION MIX -" is SO energetic and upbeat and when you see the MV you'll fall in love with it! "Beautiful" is more of a pop-ish fun song, but still has the trance-ish feel to it.. it's great! "Sweet voice" is a soft ballad, I don't think its very great but I definately would't call it BAD. Next is "Delightful" , this song is the biggest hit of the album and almost everyone loves it! Its a super upbeat extremely catchy song! "For yourself" is not trance-ish at all and is more along the lines of regular "pop" but it's still nice to listen to and it's a nice little break on the album from all the trance. "Negaigoto" is a nice ballad. "Risk" is another fun song and sounds very 80's. Next is "Eventful" , this is another song that's loved by many people and Ami even won a gold medal at the Taisho awards for this song. It's very awesome! =D "with you" is a nice song to listen to, but its nothing amazing. Next is "Times" .. This song is just AWESOME. It's definately one of the best. Then to finish off the album on a soft note, we have "I'm alone" . It's a soft ballad-type song but it's a different style from the others.. it's smooth and nice on the ears. The DVD that this comes with is to DIE FOR! It comes with 6 stunning PVs and two Making-Ofs. If you like Ami, or J-Pop in general, you NEED this album!! Did you find this review helpful? April 30, 2006 Hm..I think Crystal can be a very nice song, if you like it, but if not it can be just annoying.. some people might considor this single to be boring. HOWEVER - the 2nd track "To be Free" makes up for it all.. it's just an amazing song and the music video gives me shivers. I think this single should have been entitled "To be Free" with the OTHER songs as a b-sides XD.. well think of it this way. If you get it, you're getting 4 songs, so you're bound to like one of them. Plus, the dvd comes with 2 MVs, so you're getting your money's worth for sure. =D Did you find this review helpful? April 30, 2006 Very nice!Fantastic is a smooth upbeat trance-ish Jpop song with an awesome beat and a very creative MV, not to mention a great vocal performance and beautiful lyrics from Ami. Also, this single features a b-side called "Slow Motion" which is more like a ballad, although it's not boring like some of Ami's other ballads; it's very dreamy and nice on the ears. December 2, 2005 So much contrast!Look at the tracks that this album will contain so far: STEP you, is this LOVE?, fairyland, alterna, HEAVEN, Will, and most likely Bold & Delicious and Pride too! Each of those songs has its own genre and style that seperates it from the others. We get the amazing contrast of an album like Memorial Address, but this is a full album instead of a mini-album! No matter what kind of music you like, I guarentee you that there will be a track or two on this album that will suit your style! There are already 5 PVs that we KNOW will appear on the DVD and 2 that will most likely appear on it as well, so you get 7PVs PLUS the PVs of a few songs on the album, so there will probably be around 10 PVs + making-ofs. You really get your money's worth with this. Plus, you get a bonus 70+ page photobook for free! How can you go wrong with that? Artistically, I know this is Ayumi's best album since I am... October 22, 2005 Just AmazingThis is Ayumi's best concert since 2001. It starts off with a stunning theatrical performance to the song HAPPY ENDING, and at the end of the song Ayumi even has tears in her eyes. Also, there is a big cloth covering the back of the stage where they project an image, so the whole stage suits the atmosphere of the performance. After Happy Ending, an image of sand dumes and a desert is projected onto the cloth and a short video is played on the screen. Ayumi comes out and sings INSPIRE. I'm not a fan of INSPIRE but the atmosphere and the choreography was very enjoyable. Next she performs SURREAL and UNITE! but there's nothing special about those. Then an image of a chess board is projected onto the cloth and a very cool video plays on the screen where the male dancers chase ayumi through a maze. At the end, Ayu comes out of the floor, seeming like she comes right out of the screen, and sings GAME. The performance was very good. Next, the female dancers come out and Ayu performs my name's WOMEN. This is basically the climax of the concert, and the cloth is removed so the real stage is revealed. After that, Ayumi shows up with a cool outfit on, and there are chains on the stage. Ayu sings About You and pulls down the chains. Then she comes out and sings Moments, wearing a huge blue and red dress, the whole scene is really nice, and there is a cool effect that they do on the screen behind Ayu. After that they pull off some of her costume, revealing a new one, and she sings Walking Proud. Nothing special to note about this performance except that there are trapeze artists and Ayumi cries. After that, another little video is put on the big screen and Ayumi sings CAROLS. The atmosphere is very nice, there is snow and other visual enhancements. Next, there is sort of a Las Vegas theme, and Ayumi sings HONEY, evolution, and Boys & Girls. During Boys & Girls, there is a water show and it is AMAZING. Ayumi ended the first part of the show perfectly. I was a bit dissapointed that the encore was put on a seperate dvd, because its a bit of a hassle to change the disc. Nevertheless, it contains special features that the 1st disc doesn't. Also, you get a special 3rd disc with special behind the scenes shots and short videos from all the dates of the Tour. Overall, this concert was visually amazing and it was jam-packed with action. Plus you get 3 dvds for the price of one, so how can you go wrong there? This is a definate MUST BUY for any Ayumi fan! October 5, 2005 Great!I bought this single when it came out in August, and I must say that I really enjoy it. Fairyland is a nice song with a summer feeling, while alterna is a very cool rock song. This single also comes with remixes of STEP you and fairyland, which is a bonus! I would recommend getting the CD+DVD version, because unfortunately I didn't and regret it, and the music videos are absolutely amazing. All fans of Ayumi or JPOP fans in general would enjoy this cd. October 5, 2005 this is LOVE!This, in my opinion, is Ayumi's best single of 2005. It has two amazing songs about love, which everyone can relate to. STEP you is a very fun song and it's easy to sing along because of the amount of English. Is this LOVE? is a more powerful song about a girl who is in love with a guy who already has a lover.
