The gore/effects/makeup looks pretty fake, so it's not scary and probably won't make you squirm. October 29, 2006 Kelly & JordanIn the first few fast tracks, Kelly sings out of breath, and in some parts of the songs, she sounds like she's talking. Not good - she probably hasn't sung those old songs in a long time and be able to dance at the same time. But when singing in ballads, her voice sounds almost flawless, quite lovely. I was surprised that Kelly and Jordan only sang like 2 songs together, they might as well have been at seperate concerts. October 28, 2006 Happy GirlI think Kelly Chen lost her flavour, her spark a few years back already. Although she tries hard to reinvent herself each time, she ends up singing the same kind of songs. The album consists of the usual ballads and one fast track or two. The songs aren't particulary memorable nor original. My favourite tracks would be 1, 3, 5 and 10.
Track 1: I love the use of different instruments, the violin really suits the song.
Track 3: Love the duet. Great melody.
Track 5: Lovely ballad, great lyrics. Love singing along to this
Track 10: Beautiful song, love the music - sort of sounds like that traditional chinese music fused with modernity.
