i understand w-inds. is going through a very mature change..they're getting older..so those their music..but this new single..i guess the music they're making here doesn't suit me that much
boogiewoogie'66..is very repetitive that it doesn't really catch my mind..the musical arrangements don't really flow w/the melody..although keita does put out an outstanding performance w/his vocals
crazy for u..is another new try for w-inds...this one i find it is slightly better than boogiewoogie'66..but still not catchy enough to make me listen to it again and again..but i'm sure the musical arrangements would make a very good dancing performance for w-inds.
if..a slow ballad..again..doesn't spark to me that much..it's a bit boring to me
it's great that w-inds. is giving music a new try..working w/different types of instrucments and generes..but i kinda wish they'd go back to their old music..cause i think that's what really get to people..and get to me

his singing voice is quite powerful..emotional..and suitable to the types of songs he sings
main track..the main theme of Kuro-sagi..is very powerful..a bit on the rock-ish side..but i think it would sound better if it's even more rock-ish..it'll really bring out the dark & evil side of yama..more suitable to the show..
track 2..a medium paced song..like the musical arrangements..but it doens't blend too well with the melody..but it's still a nice song..i like the high note yama produces just before the chorus..it's well delievered..and a catchy chorus too
hoping yama continues on w/his great work

October 19, 2006 can't stop listening!!yama forms another great group again..this time a trio!
first track..fever & future..gives me the DDR/Para Para Paradise feeling..it's very up-beat..catchy musical arrangements and melody...all 3 singers' voices blend well together...and i like how yama is able to bring out his voice..quite strong...also..very very catchy chorus..especially when you watch the music video..the dance moves are jokes..love this track very much!
2nd track..a solo song by yama..also..another up-beat song..giving the ddr/para para feeling to me again..it sounds a bit like the first track..but the musical arrangements is a bit different..still an overall good track
track 3..duet from Golf & Mike..their english pronounication isn't too great in this song..but it's an okay song..typical slow ballad..not too expectionally memorable..but still good to listen to
track 4..another song sung by the trio..i like how the guitars are able to bring up the beat of this song..catchy chorus ("can't stop falling in love with you")..again..their voices blend well together
really enjoyed this single
i'm not quite sure if they will release another one..since this is a temporary group
but it's great..bringing artists from different country..making great music!

October 19, 2006 quite beautifuli have to say..i'm amazed by david tao's songs
to be honest..i never really hear a lot of his songs..i know he had some great hits a few years back..but never really took the intention to listen to his album
i finally took the chance to listen to his album..i noticed some of his long time listeners didn't find this album too great..but to me..i loved it
it mostly consists of slow ballads..not like this last one..which was a bit more dark and very rock-ish
anywhos..most of the songs in this album really got to me
track 2 - classic remake..it's a lot of hip hop + r&b into this..very different from the original song..it's a new feel..his voice is well delievered here..i enjoy it very much..the original slow melody blends well w/the new mix
track 3 - love the violin intro..then bringing in the pianos..giving a very beautiful feeling..this song has a typical canto pop melody..so it's very memorable and catchy..especially the chorus
track 4 - gives me a low into the blues feeling in the beginning..the speeds up..this song has a bit of spain music genre..well..from it gives me this feeling..i also like the chorus..he added background vocals..btu it's not too strong..so u can sitll hear his original vocals..
track 5 - another typical slow ballad..again..the chorus really got to me..very very catchy
track 6 - funny/cute intro..like the piano..it gives a happy song feeling..again..catchy song "just walk on..just walk on"..and he challenges his vocals here..lots of vocal range
track 10 - love this duet..well done..jolin+david's voices blend very well together..jolin's voice has matured from her other songs too..so new signs of improvement..the lyrics of this song is very sweet too..very suitable to the title..i like this song the best
track 11 - another typical slow ballad..nice melody..nice musical arrangements
track 12 - this would be one of the best slow ballads he gives in this album..again with a wonderful piano intro..and this song..he really gives his all..lots of vocal ranges..very powerful and emotional
track 13 - gives me a 'thinking about the past' feeling..a nice way to end of the album..quite relaxing..again with a catchy choruss
for the first time listening to david tao's album
i'm quite impressed on the music he makes
even though this album does consist of mostly slow ballads..there's not much too changes throughout..but i'm sure this was the theme he was trying to put through
looking forward to his next release..let's hope we all dun have to wait a long time for it

October 10, 2006 ONE GREAT SHOW!!i recently finished watching this concert..boy was it good..justin puts out an amazing performance!!
it starts off with a slow intro..not the usual high up-beat intro..but the energy atmosphere is still great!!
most of the songs in this concert were composed by justin himself..so you can really tell how important music is to his life
his vocal abilities are amazing..most of the songs were a bit karaoke feel..but there are a lot of different vocal ranges (from low to high) which normally some singers can't do
i like how he gives dancing a try in his concert..putting up new things..and a little storyline of first love, dream lover and marry lover..
i love all the songs in this concert..everything flow well together

she continues hitting up the music industry w/MR. QUESTION MARK single
this song is a bit on the cutsy side..but not rainie cutsy..her own original cutsy..it also gives a fantasy feeling...a dreamy effect as this song is about a girl..dreaming of her mr. right..but she doens't know who is it..so she names him mr. qusetion mark..hoping that one day..the question mark will no longer be there
this single mostly consists on this song..as the mandarin song is just the mando verison of this..and a remix + a musical on the song
i would like it to have at least one more new song
but considering it's a single..it's still good for me
niki's vocals are continuing to improve..it's more clear..but still could improve on bringing out her voice..and practicing reaching out the high notes..instead of using background vocals

there's not much to say but wonderful..simply wonderful
this should be the last cd warner will be releasing for sammi..so it's worth to get it
it comes w/2 dvds too..so u get to see all the music videos and all the images sammi has taken throughout the years!
i pretty much like everything in this set..i enjoy her new remix too..very interesting title..and it brings in all her fast songs

August 29, 2006 a total waste of time!honestly..this is one of the most ridiculous movie i'd ever seen..even a friend of mine who watches stupid movies finds this one a waste of time
honestly..i got nothing against fiona or takuya..they're both lovely actor/actress..but the movie itself was simply horrible
the was no plot to begin with..everything is a mess..no flow of any sort..suddenly fiona pops out..suddenly ppl helps her to become a successful cop..and takuya was suppose to be the male lead role of the movie..i think he only had like 10-15 min of appearance in the movie...the older police man had more appearance in the movie than him

August 28, 2006 great combo!track 1 of this single was from 'nobuta wo produce'..it was that song that got me into this single..track 1 is quite intersting..love how kame+yama's voices blend very well together...u dun really hear a lot of boy bands that can blend that well..as for the track..it gives new and interesting feeling..cause it's not a typical japanese song..it has a bit latin side to it..yet mixed with other genres as well..it's something new and interesting..worth to listen
track 2 - yama's solo..gives a typical japanese song feeling to me..but it's still good..cause it has a happy mood to it..very sunshine feeling cause it's a bit medium paced..i also like his voice..it's different from the way he talks..so it really does give the 'he is a singer' feeling
track 3 - slow song..love the guitars as the music arrangement..and this is kame's solo..a lot of emotion into it..it gives a sad feeling as well..probably how the music arranges together
overall..excellent single..too bad shuji to akira is only a temp group..i want more songs from these two..they would probably make great success!

August 28, 2006 i would love to see the movie!i would really wanna see the movie..but i gotta wait till the vcd/dvd =*(
but onto the music itself..almost half of the songs were old ones from justin+kary+edmond..but they're still good ones (like tracks 4, 8, 9, 10, 11)
onto the new songs..the songs that really got to me were...
track 2 - beautifully performed by kary..love the music arrangements..cause it really suits kary's voice and image for the movie..again kary challenges her vocals w/the really high notes at the chorus..it's catchy and memorable too!
track 1 - love the wonderful piano introduction and how it's performed throughout the song..there's not too much of a spark for this song..but it also fits alex's voice and image..typical slow song that he's good at!
track 3 - performed by justin..the typical slow song for him..again a suitable style..i like the drums in the background..it gives a bit of a confused and a lost feeling and also at the same time..a bit depressing...so something new!

August 28, 2006 one happy person!!!this is one of the best albums that kelly has made...i love the song selections..song genres..lyrics..pictures..music videos..everything!!!
i'm quite impressed on the composers+producers that contributed to this release...from all time partner mark lui..to ronald ng..to robert lay..to anthony wong and even to justin!..all of the songs in the album are worth to listen
i already explained track 1+8 on my previous review..so i'm gonna skip those two...
track 2 - my favourite song in the album..it really gives a romantic + happy feeling..very suitable to the theme of her cd..kelly's vocals in this cd is quite smoothing and melodious..her vocals once again has improved from her last release..a good sign of improvement..the music arrangements blend well together with the melody and kelly's voice
track 3 - written by justin..listening to this song gives me a feeling of his previous work on leo ku's "nobita"..with the guitar introduction and the support of back up vocals..i also enjoy this song..it's a slow song..so very relaxing..and kelly's voice in this song is soft and very high..quite hard to sing..and i like how she perform her own background vocals too..so it really blends well together
track 4 - a typical chinese melody song..a bit karaoke feel to me..i like the guitar introduction and then the build up of bass..i also like the chorus..it's quite catchy and memorable
track 5 - the 2nd song for 3D Gold..this time..the song doesn't give a grand w/a high-class feeling..it's a bit on the romantic side..so i can already imagine how it'll fit with the tv ad
track 6 - the 2nd fast song in the cd..produced by anthony wong..it's gives a new spark..as this song has the bollywood side to it!!..so it does give a bit of indian music feeling to it..it's not that catchy on the first listen..but after a few times..the chorus gets quite addictive..especially when kelly sang in indian!!
track 7 - again with a wonderful guitar introduction..the music for this song is quite soft..so u can hear a lot of kelly's vocals..and there's a lot of emotions into here too..as kelly is able to bring it up at the suitable parts of the song
track 9 - another karaoke feel chinese song..since it's a bit of the karaoke side..so it's easy to listen to..quite memorable and quite catchy..this is another song i really enjoy
track 10 - this song was made specifically to kelly's father..so the lyrics really bring up its point..again..kelly's vocals are really soft and melodious..and the music arrangements suits very well with kelly's voice and the mood of the song
track 11 - the 3rd fast song of the album..it has an intersting title for a mandarin song..this song is a bit on the techno side..so there's a play on kelly's vocals..and it gives me her 2000 techno songs feeling
track 12 - the mandarin verison of track 5..so enough said
simply..this album is a 10/10..i love all the songs..like the producers+composers..and how each song really sparks up
as for the dvd..i enjoy watching the production of making the album..but it's so short!..i'd wished it was longer..so we can really see more of the production and any funny things that happened!..and for the music videos..i like the storyline continuation for track 2+9..very interesting..cause kelly never really did one of these things before
anyways..this album is just amazing..i would really recommend anyone..whether u dun like fast songs..or u dun like slow songs..this album has a mix of everything!

August 20, 2006 still a good debutfinally go the chance to finish listening to her album
i find this release to be something fresh and new..as fiona tries different types of music+genres and challenges herself to sing it...some were quite outstanding..but some needs a bit of improvement..fiona however has improved on her singing..she's getting better at pronouncation and trying the next step and play of her vocals
onto the tracks..the ones that really got to me were
track 1 - which had a really intersting traditional chinese + hip hop + r&b mix...it was composed by khalid..so a fresh new co-operation b/w the 2 singers...also..i like fiona's performance in here..it gives a soft yet a bit of 'in-love' feeling..
track 2 - gave a wonderful '886' continuation (as the song were written by the same composers)..i like how it's a bit of disco-ish..yet how everything blends together is quite unique and different from usual disco-type of songs..edward chan/charles lee always uses their own style when it comes to music..so i find original..also this song is hard to see..the melody isn't always at the same paced..it challenges fiona to really give her a good performance..she delivers the song very well..be able to capture all the lyrics at the fast parts
track 3 - back to what fiona is strong at..slow ballads..i like how there's not a lot of music background in this song..so u can really listen to her vocals..her voice here is quite strong..so it also shows improvement from 'funny girl' & 'me'
track 4 - another slow ballad..this song isn't too outstanding..but i really like the guitar in the background..it gives a relaxing feeling to me..
track 5 - love the piano intro..and then how the guitars take over..and then the drums come in...so it gives a slow ballad and then speeds up to a rock/punk song..i like this one the best
track 8 - u can really hear nothing much except fiona's voice + the piano in the background..now this song is a theme song for a movie..so i think the arrangements really suits the mood of the movie
track 10 - also another slow ballad..gives me her usual feelings from singing slow songs..the feeling back in 'f debut', 'funny girl', & 'me'
as for tracks 9/11..9 is the mandarin verison of track 1..and 11 is just a re-make of track 2..pretty self-explanatory there
and the music videos..the mv for track 1..really really shocked me..even though overall i wanna say about the music..but her image for that song..really gives me a OMG - WHT R U DOING...i dun why she had to like put black blotches onto her eyes..it really ruins her cute & pretty image to me...good thing the mv for track 4 was better..since it brings out the cute side of her..n some clips from her movie
overall.i'll rate it a 9..as i did enjoy most of the songs..this is acutally the album i find it better than ther other releases..even though her songs in her previous releases were a bit stronger & more outstanding..but that was only 1-2 songs from the album...anywhoss..i hope fiona releases another cd soon..i really enjoy listening to herDid you find this review helpful? just a few days away
i'm very excited about kelly's new release..it's gonna be the best album of the year!!!
i already heard track 1...it's has a very good hip hop feel into it..it's not like her usual fast songs..it's a bit americanized..so it's a bit repetitive yet very very catchy...it gets addictive...and interesting lyrics too..how it talks about women in today's society..to be more free and open-minded about relationships..to relaly let go and give it all u got..dun hold anything back..i also like how kelly delivered her voice..it gets a little bit weak at times..cause she wasn't too free into the singing..but it's still good..cause she's giving this song as a new try...she gives a lot of myterious emotions into it..a bit of a sexy feeling..just love it!
the 2nd single for the album is track 8..a wonderful slow ballad..it has a memorable karaoke feel..u'll get hooked to it after listening to it the first time..even though it's a bit karaoke feel..but really hard to sing..especially during the chorus part..when kelly continues to reach the notes higher and higher...and this song is simply about break-ups..as a girl tries to once and for all get rid of all her belongings that related w/her ex-boyfriend..thinking that will be a way to forget about him..but at the end..she still remembers him and feels very sad about the break up...it's from the same composer who wrote kelly's 'best position'..i find this song better than her last one..cause it really challenges her vocals!
i heard a bit of track 3 and track 10..track 3 is another slow ballad..w/an interesting title - 'dolphin'...not sure wht the entire song is about..but again..kelly challenges her vocals w/really high notes...as for track 10..it's a medium paced song..suitable for the title - 'happy girl'..and it mainly focuses on the relationship b/w herself and her father..the lyricist even had to take a 1-hour interview w/kelly to have some inspiration in writing the song
so there's a lot of effort put into this..her last released was almost back in 2004 w/grace & charm...with already the track 1 being so sucessful not only to fans..but to radio charts and tv charts..this cd is sure to be a big hit!
also..anthony wong wrote a song for kelly too..i believe it's track 6..so it'll be intersting..as kelly really did put a lot of effort into creating a perfect album
i only find her album cover a bit weird..even though the album title is happy girl..she doesn't look really too happy...and her picture pose isn't too great of a look..and i dun like how happy girl is written on the cover as well..w/all the curly effects..what's up w/that?..i like how 'kelly chen' was written

August 10, 2006 great new starti have to say..this is a great new start for jolin in her new music company..she's putting a lot effort into her new album..as well as her dancing and promotion
track 1 - it has a combination of a rock and hip hop/r&b feel into it..intersting match
track 2 - love the beat..another fast song..gives a middle-eastern feeling to me..quite catchy..and the music video is very intersting to watch..really demonstrates how she IS the dancing diva
track 3 - a bit cutsy..and it gives me a travelling feeling (weird but that's wht i'm feeling when i listen to this song)..love her vocal performance here
track 4 - typical slow song..not too outstanding..but i like the way how jolin puts her emotions into the singing
track 5 - another fast beat..memorable chorus (especially the 'sexy pretty & juicy')..added a bit rock into it too..another good match
track 6 - medium paced song..it has a continously beat..very hip hop feel
track 7 - another slow song..love the piano music..it really slows u down after listening w/all the fast paced songs in the previous tracks
track 8 - again..jolin brings the tempo back up..love the beat and the guitar combination..memorable chorus too
track 9 - intersting duet..a medium-fast paced song
track 10 - another slow song..love the piano intro..bringing in the string instruments
track 11 - i kinda expected to be a really slow song..as she does that in her previous albums before..but it's a medium paced song..w/a slow intro..quite interesting

August 10, 2006 looking forward to the releasei think many people are making too much assumptions to fiona's new cd when it hasn't even been released yet...i dun think it's nice that people are giving like low ratings jsut because the cover looks like joey's 'ten most wanted'..firstly..the cover was taken from fiona's performance at her 903 live concert w/stephanie cheng..secondly..people think she copied joey's image..when in fact the cover for joey's cd was taken from faye wong's image...so i think there shouldn't be any negative comments on that..just because the cover looks similar..it doesn't mean the songs are bad...the artist is mainly trying to sell her music..not her image..we should really focus on that instead....but anyways..i heard of track 1 on the radio..it has traditional chinese feeling w/a bit of hip hop to it..quite an interesting match..it's very catchy..looking forward to her new release Did you find this review helpful? the storyline was quite stupid and ridiculous...even though this movie was again trying to be creative and taking things out of reality..but i think it was too much..a 1000 year old hawk flying around a city of 2006?...kinda stupid to me

i can't believe it..this cd is simply just amazing!!
i am so glad gigi went back to her old roots..i have to say her last release of 'look' was quite unsucessful...it's great she went back to what she is good at again..simply slow to medium paced pop ballads!!
i am in love with almost all songs in her album..each song had an oustanding breakthrough..
track 1 - mainly has guitar as their music..it's sofly played..so you can really hear gigi's improved vocals...gigi's singing abilities has been improving..and this song clearly delivers her voice..it's a soft medium pace song..gigi brings up her voice and softens it at appropiate parts of the song..i like this song very much
track 2 - a lot of string instructments..gives a typical jay style (since this song is composed by him)..i mostly like the 2 verses she sings in this song..cause it's quite strong..i just dun like the chorus part..she uses background vocals (real+fake)..so to me it makes her voice a bit weak..she can't make it strong enough..and the song itself is quite repetitve..a bit boring
track 3 - this song again shows gigi's strong vocals..mostly it's only her voice that was delivered..this song is different than her usual slow jams..it's still a slow song..but the musical instructment gives a grand..a summer romantic feeling..kinda like in a fairy tale..it gives me really smooth feeling..
track 4 - a happy song!..suitable for the summer season..it's a bit cutsy in a way..but not too cutsy...it's a good level..and this song had the guitars and drums a bit more louder..so it brings out the happy feel of the song..and this song gigi did use background vocals..but this time..they mix well along w/her main voice..like the ones she used to sing a few years back
track 5+6 - a typical slow song..it's quite good cause gigi's vocals are still very clear..i like how she starting to stop using background vocals..it really brings out her voice and let others hear her improvements
track 8 - uses a bit of chinese instrucments..and some children singing..bird chirping..like in the country side of china..everything blends quite well together..so it does give a new feeling..and again..gigi's vocals are delivered quite well..and the song itself is quite catchy too..memorable
track 10 - nothing to say but fantastic..cause she putting all of her old hits into one song..a song for us..all of the old songs are quite well put..they flow together quite nicely..and this song aren't cut from her old songs and placed them together..i can hear she re-recorded them..so it gives a whole new feeling..bringing out her vocals...and at the end..she sang "love myself" which really brings out a deep message to herself and everyone

i like how all of the 4 characters had some sort of phobia that causes total chaos throughout the movie
it's not as stupid as i thought it would be..there were a lot of funny scenes..some a bit ridiculous in a way..like the wedding scene..u get her..u fight him..u come to this place.etc..it draws out of reality...so it's quite creative and interesting
all 4 characters were wonderful..actings were delivered well..i really enjoyed ella's performance in the movie...hope she keeps up her acting skills
