February 25, 2008 Very Good, But...Music CD - OK, the album CD itself is positively excellent with the small exception of the limited edition bonus track "Hey Boy Hey Girl". It's a decently good song, but SEAMO's rapping can get to be too much, and give me a headache. Despite there's also some rapping sorta thing from WISE. I know it's not exactly that, but I'm not sure what to call it in the song "My Way, Your Way" it's actually fitting for the song. Honestly, some of my favorite songs on here are "be with you", "Happy Birthday", "Diamond Heart" and "LOVE LETTER".
First DVD - Well, this DVD isn't bad, but the Sweet Impact PV is slightly redundant, but still nice to watch. And then the LOVE LETTER PV can be a little boring. It needed more to it if you ask me. The other 2 PV's are really good. Then the BoA TV and The Face thing. They're both very interesting and I enjoy them very much, but I think people who speak Japanese fluently or at least have a good understanding of it will enjoy these the most. I am not fluent, but have learned alot so there's not much I can't understand.
Second DVD - Now here's the part of this album which dissapointed me. At first I heard that the "BoA X'mas Live" was going to be on here which is what made me preorder this version elsewhere right away over a month ago. And well, I'm dissapointed how it changed. The DVD has 8 performances from X'mas Live, 4 from Made In Twenty Tour, 1 from "M-flo Tour Cosmicolor" and 3 from Rhythm Nation 2007. Now, these can be good and they can't be. And I don't mean the performances. I already have the Made In Twenty Tour double DVD set, so that's 4 useless performances to me on this DVD. And then I already preordered the Rhythm Nation 2007 DVD and for alot more than the BoA performances, so that's 3 more performances which I don't need in the long run. It will give me a preview of the entire thing til my preorder DVD arrives though. And then the BoA Live X'mas is absolutely excellent... Well, whats here anyways, so you might as well order the full concert separately. In my personal opinion, I think she should've put the entire X'mas Live on here and maybe the M-Flo Tour Cosmicolor performance of The Love Bug on here as a bonus. Still, all the performances on this DVD are really excellent, and until I get my Rhythm Nation 2007 and X'mas Live DVDs these will keep me busy with a preview of them which is really enjoyable.
Cover And Designs(Pictures) - Well, the cover is quite different from anything in the past but I really like it, and the pictures inside are really nice. I love them all. The soft blue reminds me of what the sky looks like during the summer.
So on the whole, this is a really good album, but if you have or are going to order any of the stuff on the second DVD it's probably best to get the CD+1DVD version.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Checking out a few songs elsewhere I couldn't believe what I was listening to. She's got a completely gorgeous voice, and even a few songs have brought me to tears despite I know very little Korean. So, I've ordered this album and I was certainly not dissapointed with it at all. The pictures, cover and CD are all wonderful. I encourage everyone who enjoys lovely ballads and R&B tunes to pick this CD up. It's a lovely price and totally worth every cent. January 8, 2008 Gorgeous And Amazing!I must admit that when purchasing this, I was a little skeptical since many photobooks of American singers are usually softcover and not the greatest quality in the world, but I'm so glad everyone else had posted their thoughts first. I just received this item yesterday afternoon in the mail, and despite I bought a fair number of other items along with it I spent most of my night sitting up in bed looking at this over and over with a few of my new cds playing in the background. The book is huge and is also extremely well made from the hardcover out-lining to even the pages inside, and as usual Kuu thanks her fans for bringing her to where she is today at the start of the book. There's loads(and I do mean LOADS) of pages of some gorgeous, cute and even sexy photos of Kumi. I definitely reccomend this photobook to everyone who likes or loves Kuu. Unlike other lesbian/gay series in the past this isn't all about the sex. It deals with real life issues like anyone straight or gay would deal with. The acting is excellent and the storyline is very intriguing and interesting to watch episode for episode. I can really relate to many of the characters and things that they go through. And then the music is beautifully composed and written from everything to the theme song to the background music in many scenes. Also, this is a very good price for the first 3 seasons all in one shot. I definitely reccommend you pick this series up and give it a try. Totally worth all your time and money. September 12, 2007 Just TerribleI seriously couldn't even make it through so much as one song. Her voice is bland, annoying, nasaly among many other things. Even most of the tunes aren't good and I tried listening to every last track. And honestly, it's true, all she does have going for her is a pretty face. This album is seriously not worth it. September 1, 2007 Verily Good, But....I really love these new songs, and I can't wait to hear the orchestra version of "fated", but frankly I have heard better rock songs than this one from Ayu.(ie. GAME, my name's WOMEN, until that Day) I've noticed that it seems like she's not using her full vocal capabilities like she's done in the past before her releases of this single and "glitter/fated". I adapted to "glitter/fated" after awhile and liked these 2 new songs right away, but I just think she needs to really put that spark back in her voice. My other complaint is her covers this year. She looks gawd awful on the covers of this single, and I've had over 100 other people agree with me there. I wouldn't mind something real pretty like she did with Memorial Address or Secret. So, on the whole it's a verily good single, and I honestly do reccomend it as long as you can get over the covers. Also, I must admit that I'm glad to see the name CREA back in the composing list. August 21, 2007 Simply WonderfulI've heard the 2 main tracks already, and they're excellent from beginning to end. Ai no Uta is a perfectly composed lovely ballad that you just fall right into the second it begins playing in your player. What I love about many of Kuu's ballads is that they can really make me cry, while still making me want to finish listening to the rest of the song cuz it's so beautifully enchanting. As for the B-Side track Come Over, it's kinda different but reminds me of something she might've done before her BEST first things period. It took me a second listen, but after that the song really took flight with me and now I love it to pieces. Then the covers are just beyond beautiful, and I know that the Ai no Uta PV will be just as lovely. I reccomend this single to everyone that loves ballads and J-Pop. July 26, 2007 Fantastic!Now, usually I find it difficult to find all that many really good Korean singers. So, with Chae, she'd be my 4th good one to hear. Chae's vocals are outstanding and really shine on this album. Also, the lack of ballads is nice too, but not alot of artists can do that correctly without it sounding wrong. Chae's definitely one of the few that can do that right. Also, the additional remix tracks are certainly a nice touch. I love every track on this CD, and it's extremely well priced. My only small complaint about this album is that her face is a little too airbrushed for my taste. She looked more natural on her previous covers. July 6, 2007 Excellent!Before I start, MattK.K, it's not supposed to cut off half way through. My copy doesnt and neither does my friend's. You got a faulty disk and might wanna contact them about getting a replacement.
Now as for this album, it's truly the BEST of the 2 BEST albums. It contains alot of great songs including all of the 12 singles except for BoysLoveGirls... and one other i think. June 19, 2007 Great Fresh New Album.Namie's back with a vengeance, proving once again that she is one of the best. I just heard 30 second previews of every last song on this album, and six of them I've already heard in full. Many of the songs are kinda different and unique from anything Namie's done in the past, but it's a bold fresh new look, and personally, I love it! The PVs (available on CD+DVD only) are new and fresh looking. She does a great job at creating an atmosphere you'll wanna hold and enjoy 'til the end of your days. Also, the covers are simple yet elegant, sexy and catchy to the eye. Not to mention she sure doesn't look near 30 years old. Now, about my only small little complaint is that unfortunately, the version of Violet Sauce on the album isn't as good as the original, but catchy nonetheless. June 19, 2007 Just Not Worth It.Finally another single from everyone's dearly beloved Ayu. Now, I've been an Ayu fan since 2001, and still am, but frankly this new single needs work. The first track "glitter", the music's half decent except for those few parts during the song where it sounds like children in the background, which makes it sound like she's trying to do kids music. However, also her voice sounds raspy and whiny during the whole song. It's like her voice is serously strained after singing live too much. As for "fated", it's not bad, but still a little slow and carries on for too long, and once again her voice sounds raspy. Just thankfully not whiny this time. And then last but not least, we have the bonus track "Secret". What is the real point of that? It's not a remix and any real Ayu fan has already bought her "Secret" album, so they already have the song. A remix of a song as a bonus is a lure to make the single completely worth the money, but I think this time she hit near rock bottom. All I can do is pray is that she rests her lungs, her vocal cords and puts out a much better single next time. As for now, I honestly reccomend that this single be avoided. May 31, 2007 Kumi's A BalladsWhen I first bought this album I thought I wouldn't listen to it much and it'd be more of a collectible than anything else. Boy Was I wrong! Don't think of this as a BEST album. It's not really. It reminds me of Ayu's A Ballads in a sense. It has a brand new song and some of the other previously released tracks are remixed into something that's just gorgeous to listen to when ballads is what you're in the mood for. I've been listening to it probably 4 or 5 times a day. Kumi's voice is also just gorgeous at these ballads. The DVD however, is slightly dissapointing. The remixed PVs are kinda neat but if you own the Second Session Tour concert DVD then the CM and performance of Love Goes Like on here are kinda pointless to watch. I honestly believe this should've been released as CD Only. So aside from its couple small flaws it's truly a great buy for those that enjoy wonderful ballads by a wonderful singer. May 8, 2007 perfect through and throughI was only recently introduced to Hitomi Shimatani, and when I received this CD and actually had the chance to listen to it I was completely amazed. Her voice is breathtaking, and the use of even a real orchestra on many of the tracks makes it even more perfect. I'm still listening to it day after day. It has to make you wonder why an avex artist like this gets jipped while other singers like Ayumi Hamasaki(fan of her too) get all the fame, glory and endless supply of cash. April 1, 2007 A Perfect Refreshment.After waiting for quite awhile Mika finally returns with a new album containing entirely new material... well unless you count the single songs. This album is beautiful and more upbeat than her previous MUSIC album. Also, for a new change she has given us a gorgeous cover which isn't just a face shot. Plus, did I mention that after hearing her sing What A Wonderful World on this CD she actually was able to get me to like the song? February 16, 2007 Brilliant!This is film is the most unique comedy of this genre I have ever seen! With everything right down to the little fighting angel and devil on the shoulders, embarrassment after embarassment and an excellent twist it's hilarious from beginning to end. The acting is rather perfect as well. However to be completely honest I'd only call one of the 3 "playboys" in the movie to acutally be considered a playboy. On the whole the film is a great exatturation of what going through male puberty must be like. I give this film a perfect 10, and hope to see more like it in the future. November 24, 2006 10 Thumbs Way Up!!I just heard some MUCH longer clips of each song on here. They were each close to 1/4 of each track and they sound absolutely awesome! Ayu-dono has truly done it again, and i love the fact that there's far fewer ballads on this album. Also means next years' Secret Arena Tour's gonna rock as well. The album is a ton of rock songs that really do ROCK! Her voice works really well with the flow of the songs and lyrics as well. She's truly getting better and better. November 23, 2006 Just Perfect
After bring dissapointed with the Venus poster, I'm glad to see that yesasia got this one in. I Love Tackey & Tsubasa! This poster is made out of a good strong paper, and is very colorful as you can plainly see. Definately a must have collectable for all T&T fans like myself. Also, they look great on the cover. November 6, 2006 Best Show On Earth... EverWith an arrangement of some of the most awesome and beautiful outfits, dances and special effects I must say this is the greatest concert I've ever seen in my life! Her voice is excellent and does extremely well with the notes, flow and rythm of the numerous different songs. It keeps you upbeat and excited on every last song... even those slower ones like HEAVEN and Pride, which may make you cry a little. I love how she keeps the audience "in line" with her. They're always waving their fans in the air and following her dance steps on stage. Plus, some of the little chat sessions are just hilarious. Well, if you can understand Japanese anyway, but my friend who watched it with me still laughed even though she didn't understand much of what they were talking about.
