666 (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
August 20, 2008 Oh my gosh, INCREDIBLE ROCK rating for ANY COUNTRYHyde's 666 cd is incredible! Beautifully melodic, innovative, and unlike any rock I've heard in UK, America, or Korea.
I would rate him along Gackt, and was so surprised by the excellent guitar skills and songs. It's kind of like am mixture of Creed (USA) with Muse (UK), and some Gackt (J-Rock). It's very beautiful! That's all I can say!
$30 is cheap for this kind of quality music! Excellent!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Dakishimeru (Japan Version)
August 20, 2008 Extremely Catchy and fun!The CD was very catchy and to me, was worth the money. Although I don't understand the cover with the song, because it looks like she's in winter clothes, but the song itself is completely un-ballad like and very catchy. I think they should switch the CD covers of VIVID and DAKISHIMERU, lol. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

However, this particular album caught my attention (I am an avid music listener from all genres) and I wonder if it was produced by a non-Korean producer. It was refreshingly innovative and melodic. One song in particular "sometin' sometin'" was similar to Robin Thicke/Justin Timberlake's high pitched male voice singing sweetly like honey to an R&B song. It was beautiful.
Very good album, I am still surprised. I think Korean pop music is taking a change for the better.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

August 18, 2008 Original, Innovative, and Melodic!! Hyori's best! After the horror of the 2nd album which caused an uproar in Korea due to its similarity to Britney Spears and lack of originality, Hyori proved herself as an original talent with this 3rd album. Her voice is much more polished, and the songs are all innovative melodies. She has her own independent style now, instead of copying others.
All the songs are very catchy R&B/Hip Hop style! Excellent!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 17, 2008 YuckKissing You and Sparkling is horrible, the song is like an overplayed, normal tune. It is not catchy in any way, and sounds like a boring song you'd here anywhere else.
Joyful Smile, however, saved the CD. This song is very catchy R&B style, and if you liked "My Way, Your Way" and "soundscape" you'll probably like this one too.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 8, 2008 "Straight up" is a copyThe song "Straight up" is a complete 100% copy of Chante Moore's song, also entitled "Straight up."
It's amazing how Korean producers will copy songs. I think this just ruined Hyori Lee's career.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
