I didn't know what to expect, but I ended up loving this movie! It's better than other comedies with a sloppy plot, this one tells the story of an ancient legend and adds a twist of humor to it! All the acting was great from Sammi and Cecilia (who I normally find annoying in her other films) but my favorite character was definately Anita who played the hilariously wussy man! The war would be in one direction and he(she) would literally be running in the other! A movie I could watch over and over and over. Her vocals are smooth and this is probably her best CD yet. She's perfected her r&b because while her last two albums had some AMAZING tracks, a lot of them were also boring. This time e.v.e.r.y song is awesome. There are even two "hidden" tracks, and I was so suprised when I heard that song "because I love you" on here! It was one of the very first J songs I heard and she blew me away. I never bought the CD because I didn't know which one it was from. This time she revamps it with instrumentals & backup vocals, and though I prefer the original because it was just raw J, I'm still really happy to have it one here. The casing on this is stupid though. It may look nice but by the time you pull the disc out it's all scratched up. May 17, 2002 Not that good, M-flo is strongest TOGETHERIs it true that Lisa is leaving M-flo? I heard somewhere that she announced it before the release of this single. The title of the song and the fact that M-flo hasn't made anything new in like a year and a half...is scary. I think Japan releases 4 or 5 singles before an album to make more money. ^__^ I can't afford to collect singles so I just wait til the artist actually releases the album. The only new Hikaru singles I've heard are Final Distance & Traveling! Despite her new sound that some people have been saying they don't like, I still think she is one of the top artists in Japan and I am patiently waiting to buy her music when the new album comes. I was seriously scared and on the edge of my seat when the friends were caught together. Don't worry I haven't spoiled anything. You have to see it, one of the best Korean movies or ANY movie of all time. It's about war, the split Koreas, true friendship and friends that can never be. May 5, 2002 only if you're bored blind and deafomg this movie was so lame. boring boring boring, and the scarecrow thing reminded me of children of the corn or an old tales from the crypt episode or something. wasn't scary at all. i don't even know what was going on because it was so boring i didn't even pay attention. the ending was a suprise but may as well be because they were all messed up. blah Did you find this review helpful? Most of all it's a true story or something too. The things Wong does are really terrible (I watched it with my mom and she was screaming and closing her eyes in the gruesome parts), but it was also shocking to see the police beating him, and you feel sorry for Wong at the end. It might be long in some parts like most police tracking a killer movie, but this one is different and after seeing everything it will pay off trust me. No.1 is the best song I think but I'm not sure if this album or her Japanese album is the best. The Korean version of Listen to My Heart sounds so awful though. BoA's singing is good but then they have these cheesy backup vocals that just take over, and when the chorus comes you can't even hear her! Turns the awesome Japanese song into crap. I was expecting a kind of ugly, bland low-budget looking movie but the usage of color especially was really pretty (I know "pretty" doesn't sound right but really I thought it was!), and the camera angles and effects added a nice touch as well. It's not a Hollywood-looking movie but it's still good. The atmosphere in the beginning is creepy and it does move back and forth like a video game with black & white static shots, etc. As the movie progresses and you see more of what's going on it's not as scary if you've seen a lot of horror movies, but I thought it was still really interesting up until the end.
