November 23, 2007 Simplicity!Once again, Koda Kumi releases a great single. Her collaboration with THSK went very well, I believe. Personally, I had never heard of Tohoshinki before this collaboration and I must say that they did a very good job. Kuu's voice sounds amazing as always and their voices mix really well in this single.
LAST ANGEL is a very addicting song with it's groove mix (the type of music is sounds to me) and the PV is wonderful with the all white attire and scenery. The dancing is great and it's a safe bet that this song will be stuck in your head for ages.
Then with the B-side Dear Family (which is a solo), the way it sounds, it sounds like a lot of her earlier work from when she debuted. The melody to the song is very calming and soft and flows perfectly after the dance number of the A-side.
You really can't say anything bad about this single. It has been a while since we've seen Kuu collaborate with another group and it went over VERY well. Definately a single you should pick up!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

November 18, 2007 Why?As with others, I don't understand why a lot of people dislike this ballad. I think it's a gorgeous song and PV. Ai no Uta is probably one of my favorite ballads by her. I'm not normally a ballad person, but Kuu, for some reason, always entrances me with hers. The PV is gorgeous and just makes you want to cry, much like her other ballads.
The B-side, Come Over, is a very up-tempo song that, just like the A-Side, is very difficult to get out of your head. I can't stop listening to this single over and over again.
I've been a Kuu fan since May of 2003 when she released her real Emotion/1000 no Kotoba single. Maybe I am just being biased, but I do know one thing, and that's that this album is definatly worth it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)

November 18, 2007 Amazing...as AlwaysThere's only one thing I can say about this single:
It's WONDERFUL.
The first time I ever listened to "Yume no Uta" I cried. Kuu can always touch someone with her music, and this is a very deep single. The music video for this song is gorgeous in every direction and everyone who listens/watches this can not help but feel for the person portrayed in the song.
Then you have "Futari de..." with it's softer tempo, but is the happy side of a different person and her boyfriend.
I love how Kuu took one song and transformed it into a two-story love ballad. Both songs are wonderful to listen to over and over, and no matter how many times you listen to it, you still get touched.

November 18, 2007 Pulsed!The first time I ever listened to this album, I was hooked. This was her second album that I was intorduced to and it's fantastic. Every song is well put together and sounds amazing. I love the softness in "flower" and the fun, upbeat in "COME WITH ME." Plus, the rhythmic beat in "Get Out the Way" is a great song to get pulse running and heart going. Her voice is simply beautiful and this album is a must have.
