(3)Our Price: US$43.25Usually ships within 7 daysFebruary 28, 2008 Over..With DAI, Tomiko had some potential because she had beautiful music & arrangement to fall back on despite her weak vocals. Without them though...it's like..stick a fork in it, you're done!! 0.0 Her vocals are not good enough for a solo career. She sounds rough...=X I'm so sorry...but with DAI, they made magic...her alone...it's just nothing really special. I think what DAI had going for them was the music - never Tomiko's voice really..only thing going for her is the emotion she puts into her singing. T.T sorry, Tomiko....it's just too bad DAI broke up..all together they were sooo good.. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(7)Our Price: US$16.99Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysFebruary 28, 2008 O.o ???This album is a matter of preference! I wasn't expecting much because of the reviews...yet when I heard the album, it became my favorite of Vincy's!!! The songs are incredible and Vincy's voice is beautiful even on upbeat songs which is unusual because singers don't usually sound exactly "beautiful" on dance-y songs. Unlike her 1'st album which was basically all ballads, this one has a decent amount of dance + upbeat + midtempo tracks!! It's interesting and the mood of the album is kind of eerie and fantasy-like. Vincy displays the different sides of herself in this as well as more unique & exotic vocal stylings. It reminds me of Faye Wong's "The Lost Tapes" album...very surreal and with beautiful echo effects & choral backing tracks. While the MVs are better on "Close To You", the songs are better on this one to me. Her cover of Mika Nakashima's "Yuki no Hana" is extremely gorgeous despite me perferring Mika's original version. I say they're tied on that track vocally, but Mika has more heartfelt emotion because...well, it's her song! =P Hehehe! I feel the only track out of place is track 7, but it's a fun mid-tempo track which rightly deserves its own credit. Track 9 was also good, but not like the rest of the album. Sooooooooooo...8 phenomenal tracks & 2 good tracks + a DVD containing 4 wonderful MVs! It's worth it, don't U think!? Hehehe! I also love the jacket artwork; it's very mysterious and sincere. "Close To You" would be the better choice if you're looking for a more down-to-Earth & natural, fun-filled Vincy..."Vincy" would be best if you're a major ballad freak =P ...but "Flowers Without Snow" is for a more surreal artist-y type who likes an exotic, flavorful style! (hey, that's MEEE!) mwahahagwahaha! gegegenyehehehe!! .. O.o
I love all her albums, but this one is the one for meee most of all! Vincy is a gorgeous girl with talent that could make her go all the way to no.1! Blessings to her. n_n I hope her name is known all around Asia one day and possibly elsewhere too! <3Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 28, 2008 Next Faye Wong??I just recieved my copy of this in the mail today! ^.^ First off...the case is so nice!! *.* Very classy and the pictures inside are lovely. Hehehe! Mika Nakashima must be Vincy's rolemodel, really. Vincy wears the same style of clothes + hairstyles...not to mention she covered Mika's "Yuki no Hana"! n_n It's so sweet. (so off-topic, isn't it?)
I was very surprised with Vincy's live vocals and stage presence...and the audience too!! She hasn't even been an artist for 2 full years and already has quite a loyal following! They shouted "Vincy! Vincy!" and held up tons of signs. ^.^ precious. Anyway, I was also surprised to see Vincy can dance!!! 0.0 It was very sophisticated but cool & sexy too!
I think Vincy Chan has the talent to become possibly the next Faye Wong..we'll see! She's SOOO GOOD and I would love to see her get all the fame she deserves. A very unique & special singer!! Hmmmmmm...I've been watching the top selling charts on YesAsia and I wonder "SeeTHRU Stephy Live" is selling more...I haven't recieved my copy of that concert in the mail yet (it's on it's way!), but truly...I think this is a better buy for Vincy's gorgeous vocals alone. Karaoke is optional on the DVD, so you're not forced to see big Chinese characters across the screen by the way!! It does come with 2 discs, neatly tucked one-on-top-of-another in the jewelcasing. =D !! The DVD picture quality is high and very clear as is the audio...no fuzziness or anything like that. Extremely professional!!!!!!!!! Hehehehe!!!! <3 You should know this is a VERY nice concert, not cheap or anything. You won't regret having it!!!! I bought it unknowing what to expect, but I was sooo pleasantly surprised!!!!! n_n-V !!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 26, 2008 Nice ballad"be with you." is a very beautiful ballad and acts as the leading single for "The Face" album. While it does have a beautiful melody, I have a few complaints about it. n_n'' First off, the verses aren't that good...they kind of drag in a very boring fashion. The chorus is gorgeous, but it gets so quiet during the verse-to-chorus transition. I have to always turn it up when it comes to the chorus; it's so low and the music drowns out BoA's voice.
I mainly bought this single for "Precious" + the instrumentals. Not to mention that stunning cover! ^.^ "be with you." isn't all that incredible to me, however. I'd rank it a 2.5 out of 5 stars. BoA has much more beautiful ballads like "Every Heart", "Jewel Song", "Over ~Across The Time~", "Your Color", etc! sorry, BoA... T_TDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 25, 2008 Inuyasha ending themeI'm buying this because I heard it as the ending of Inuyasha. The song is BEAUTIFUL...I really love it sooooo much despite me not being a fan of DAI. The instrumental is included *.* I'm going to enjoy singing to that!!!! Doesn't the title mean "Song Of Truth"?? =/ YesAsia has it wrong in the description I think. XD Anyway!!! This is a definite MASTERPIECE. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(1)Our Price: US$49.98Usually ships within 7 daysFebruary 25, 2008 My only favorite anime!I am not an anime fan!! I find most of it disgusting because there's too much sexual content and misuse of schoolgirl innocence to please men's sick fantasies. >_< I can't say Inuyasha isn't guilty of this at times because there's quite alot of that typical-ness. Even so, I love this anime for some reason!! O.o I find it oddly addictive, very funny, highly entertaining, dramatic, and with beautiful ending themes. I love the characters "Sango", "Kagome", and "Sesshomaru" most of all!! I find myself very angry about Miroku though...shouldn't a monk be, I don't know, RELIGIOUS!? >_< Instead he hits on women alot. grrrrrrrrrrrr..!! Inuyasha curses too much...
Here's my rating!! Rated R (ages 17-up) for animated violence, gore, sexual references, crude humor, mature thematic material, nudity, and mild language!
(I like to rate movies!) Heehee!!!!!! I do think this anime is better than most out there...but it's not perfect, thus my rating of 8 out of 10!! ^.^ I think you should pick this up anyway...you might love it, u know!?! ;PDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 25, 2008 I like HayamiI really like to support Hayami!! This single is so good!! What is it with Japan's underrated talents!? >_< They deserve to be seeeeeeeeeeeeen!! February 25, 2008 Highly regarded??I was surprised to hear people perfer this album over her latest, "POP"! 0.0 In this album, there are many cute songs...but none that really hold much depth or impressive vocals. I love Aiko Kayo now...but her latest album is MUCH more interesting and better when it comes to vocals!! I did just order "Dolce" CD+DVD though...hehehe..! For the fact that I collect everything of hers now. <3 I just know she has better than this.
Hmmmmmmmm..let's see now! Fans of Hayami Kishimoto, Yuko Ogura, Aya Matsuura, Aya Ueto, and Ai Otsuka will most likely appeal to Aiko Kayo! That's what I think at least! ^.^''Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 25, 2008 Fair single!Jealous much, Rocking Horse? Jeez, she's not THAT bad. Aiko Kayo does have talent yet to be tapped in this single. I'll admit myself that this is not a good showcase of her voice or style. I think her latest singles like "HOME MADE STAR ~Theme no Aiko Kayo~" and "Yuuki no Chikara" are MUCH more a display of interesting music and wonderful vocals!! ^.^-V I wish she were a rising star, but instead...she fell. =[ Aiko deserves attention...so support her and buy this, ok? =*[ Did you find this review helpful? I'm so proud of her vocal improvement; she sounds sooo good especially on the B-side!! The cover is very cute too. Avex has invested so much into her and I can't see why her CDs flop badly. =/ ??? Her instrumentals are always good and her PVs are always cute & interesting with great outfits and scenary. ^.^ I am a big fan of her now!! Aiko Kayo, I only wish you were more successful...... =( Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 19, 2008 LOVE the PVs!!I'm not a fan of the "Japanese girl gets surgery to be anime-ishly cute" thing... =/ but for some reason, I like Aiko Kayo. I know her image & music is typical...but I can't stop watching her PVs!!!!!! Hehehe! n_n They're so much FUN!!
This is the only thing really worth buying of hers...but her CDs are OK for those who aren't picky and don't mind an untalented singer. O.o I just can't listen to them at all! x_x sounds sooo bad to me...buuuut, I encourage this for girls who love cute things like I do!! It's great to dance to and sing along with!! I watch it often. ^.^-V Hehehe~! I just think they should lower the price to about 28$! I mean, 44$ for a few PVs...?! It's crazy..buuut I buy it anyway because the videos are so much fun to watch and I can't find them anywhere else. T.TDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 14, 2008 INCREDIBLEOkay...before I reviewed the CD-ONLY after hearing sample clips. =] now, I shall review the CD+2DVDs first press since I recieved mine today! ^.^
I love every song on the CD!! Musically, Kumi is at her best. I especially LOVE LOVE LOVE tracks "anytime", "UNDER", "Koi no Mahou", "Black Cherry", "MORE", and "Himitsu"!! n_n-V Those are the best to meeee!
The PVs were surprising!! I thought they were going to be low budget since there's so many, but they weren't. There were some very stunning outfits and backgrounds...lovely themes! ^0^ I actually like "Wonderland" now that I've seen the PV...but yet...it's still my least favorite track from the album along with "Last Angel". XD sorrryyyyyyyyy!! The video is fun though! I enjoyed all the videos, but the ones that really left an imprint on my mind were "UNDER", "Koi no Mahou", "MORE", and "FREAKY"! "Amai Wana" is a great song, but the video should've had more dance scenes. I felt the video didn't fit the song's hyped beat. =/ I was disappointed that "Black Cherry" didn't have a PV but instead featured a very short opening performance of it from "Black Cherry Dome Tour 2007"! A PV would've been better because it's a GREAT dance song. o.O "Run For Your Life" was on the MV DVD, despite me being told that Avex Trax messed up and that it wasn't. I still don't like it though >_< Is it me or is Kumi the oldest one out of that group of young girls?? (giggling) seems immature...but overlookable since the other videos are SOOOO GOOD!! *.* "Aisho", however, makes Kumi look kinda bad. Considering the title can also mean "prostitute" and she wore her obi in front (the traditional wear for a Japanese prostitute) and then stripped down naked and laid in bed...I don't think she actually meant "Proof Of Love", I believe she actually meant to insinuate "Prostitute". It's one of my favorite songs, but least favorite videos. =/ Even though the whole atmosphere is breathtakingly beautiful. "BUT" is also not so good PV-wise. O.O Why no dancing? Instead, I just saw manly-looking women kiss eachother. EEEEK!!!!!! The outfits Kumi wore were ADORABLE though *.*
The concert was the real treat, however!! She sounded PERFECT all the way through...but overdid it at the last performance...hehehe..! It's still wonderful though. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! I sang along every song!!! The opening was VERY exciting and I liked the fact that she didn't go overboard with the sexual image. "MORE" was especially noticeable and she also did her BEST performances of "You" and "hands"! "hands" featured piano only and "You" was an orchestra version instead of the original. It was also her best "Koi no Tsubomi" performance and it was more jazzy-themed than the original. "FREAKY" was astonishing too!! <3 It made me really get into the song and now I love it.
After all this, I wanted even MORE!!!!!!!! (no pun intended! yikes!) >.< I will buy the "Black Cherry Dome Tour 2007" when it's out!! The teaser trailer of it featured on the MV DVD made me reallllllly wanna see it. ^.^
The whole packaging is beautiful too! I love the 2 photobooklets + special outer case. The poster is a bit too sexy to hang on my wall! XD The stickers are nice to have.
It's so sad that Avex has stopped promoting this album because of the whole radio show controversy with Kuu. It's very silly because this album is definitely Kumi's best and one of the best albums I own. T_T Please keep buying and support her!! This new image of hers is actually quite classy, more natural, yet still sexy-cute. I'm proud of her. I hope it sales like mad anyway!!!!! ^.^-V hehehe!! GO GO, KUUCHAN!!!!!!!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 13, 2008 Worth buying! ^.^Ok...I'm a serious buyer of music. I'm not a fan of Yuko Ogura's modeling. I know she's had much plastic surgery. 0.0 and doesn't sing really good or anything and her songs don't require much talent. I don't like her fake cutiepie act...but her music is loads of fun!! *.* I think it sounds ADORABLE. Even though it isn't her true voice (her voice is actually very deep in reality!)...for some reason, I find it highly addictive! I can't stop listening because it's silly, funny, and cute. While (vocally and lyrically) it cannot even come close in comparison to serious artists in Japan, I am glad I bought it! n_n-V Her voice is tolerable and it's not tonedeaf. I dance when I hear her songs and they make me crazy hyper happi! ^.^-V I can't explain it...but I LOVE it!! They're catchy and sing-along worthy!! <3 I just wish she'd make more CDs instead of those nasty idol DVDs. >.< !! it's so wrong..... Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
The Face (Japan Version)
February 9, 2008 Wonderful album!!!I'll review CD+2DVDs once I get my copy, but for right now...I will review CD only since I have just heard every song.
AGRESSIVE is a very agressive upbeat song with loads of techno. It's really fun and caught my attention right off. n_n I love it alot!!
My Way, Your Way feat. WISE is one of my most favorite songs by BoA ever. Both BoA and WISE sound really good and the melody is beautiful.
Girl In The Mirror is a very cool, very catchy dance number. It's one of my most favorite tracks from the album. ^.^
Happy Birthday is extremely cute and sweet, but is it me..or does BoA's English get worse with every release! XP It sounds really bad on the English parts, but everything else is good. It is forgettable, however, compared to other tracks.
BRAVE really surprised me. I've never heard this style from BoA and I hope she experiments with it more in the future. I love this rockish edge..it's actually very fitting for BoA's voice. Before hearing it, I could never imagine soft rock from BoA...but it worked!!!!! n_n This is also one of my most favorite songs from BoA ever.
Gap ni Yarareta! is the worst track from the album and one of BoA's worst works ever. The melody is terrible and doesn't blend with BoA's vocals at all until the chorus. It sounds like a sick record player on verses. This is the one track I think they should've cut.
Style makes up for the previous track's disappointment. Very cool, sexy dance song! ^0^-V
Best Friend is pretty good, but once again...terrible English accent which kind of kills the vibe a bit. It is a great song though with a nice mid-tempo rythmn.
Hey Girl, Hey Boy feat. BoA is the best upbeat song on the album to me...so why was it featured as a bonus track on the CD+2DVD version only?! It's very fun and the guy vocalist/rapper is extremely good too.
All the single tracks are very enjoyable, but I found the most beautiful ballad from the album to be "Smile again"! I don't understand why this song didn't recieve much attention. BoA shows her range alot on it and her tone is undeniably beautiful!! "Lose Your Mind" has grown on me, but it's not BoA's best work...it is very different to her usual dance songs though. "Sweet Impact" and the "LOVE LETTER" b-sides are also VERY GOOD as well as "LOVE LETTER" itself. n_n-V
KUDOS to the cover artwork as well! BoA looks gorgeous...but I wish the CD+DVD cover was for the CD+2DVD edition instead. >_< It's my favorite one!
This album is a step up from MiT and I think fans will respond more. It has a wide variety of styles...Urban Hip Hop, Ballad, Mid-Tempo, Dance-y Pop, and even Rock! ^.^ I find myself listening to it ALOT more than her "Outgrow" album and even more than "Made In Twenty"!! Why does the description for the album say it say 13 tracks??? It has 15 + the bonus CD+2DVD track. oh well! I hope BoA tops the Oricon charts with this album!!!!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Out Of The Box (ALBUM+DVD)(First Press Limited Edition)(Japan Version)
Out Of The Box (ALBUM+DVD)(First Press Limited Edition)(Japan Version) DVD Region 2
(4)Our Price: US$29.49February 4, 2008 Fun & different effortI wasn't too crazy about this album, but it was Jade's first venture outside of the name "Sweetbox"! "Just Another Day" is great on the chorus and music composition, but the verses aren't performed well. The lyrics are good, but I don't perfer the rapping style. "Goodbye" is the best track to me and has Jade's most meaningful message she has ever written. That song alone is reason enough to buy this album. "Tuned Up" is fun, but I don't really like it all that much. "Mr. Pay Me" is my favorite upbeat song and shows the agressive Jade! "Crush" is wonderful on music and vocals, but lacks in the lyrics. "Uh LaLa" has a great chorus, but the verses aren't good. I can't really remember "Show Me".
So out of 8 tracks, there's only 2 I really love...1 I like alot...and 1 that I think is pretty good. 4 out of 8 I'll listen to. The other 4 I find OK and fun...but never go back to. The MV for "Just Another Day" is my favorite video to ever feature Jade. It's got a meaning and it's beautiful. So, YES...the CD+DVD is worth the money completely. I just think "Bittersweet Symphony" shows more of Jade's original style and true musical gift. It's 10x better than "Out Of The Box", but this mini-album deserves a fair try anyway! Plus, as I emphasized on, the MV is really good!!!!!
25$ isn't much to pay for 4 really good songs and a great video. This DVD is region ALL, btw. It's not Region 2. Worked for me on both my Region 1 DVD players!!! ^.^Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 4, 2008 *.* It's INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!So far, I've heard 3 of these brand new tracks and it's probably Jade's best work ever. I didn't really like "Out Of The Box"...I only liked about 2-3 tracks. It was fun, but not really my tastes. I'm glad this album has none of those tracks, but replaces them with brand new ones! This whole album is completely new! ^_^ I just wish she'd make MVs for at least 4 of the tracks and include a DVD! Oh well! Maybe one day!
"Unbreakable" was strange in the beginning, but really captured the whole vibe of the album! I loved it within the first few seconds of listening. I felt the exact same way about "Like A Bird" too! *_* The chorus is amazing. "Out In The Sea" is also REALLY GOOD! I'm glad Jade postponed this release and took more time to work on it. "Out Of The Box" wasn't a success, but it did try out other sounds which was something new and fun for Jade! I think it was a nice mini-album for her to make a name for herself apart from "Sweetbox". It was different from her usual, but I'm glad she didn't permanently go with that sound...there's too many artists that have the "dance/soul" sound and it would've eventually gotten boring. I perfer this beautiful, orchestra, and dramatic sound from Jade. It suits her and her voice much better! It's what made me a fan in the first place, u know? ^.^-V
Fans of Sweetbox will be very pleased and relieved it's not like "Out Of The Box".Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

February 4, 2008 My favorite Namie work! After "Play", I wasn't hoping much for this single! Once I saw the videos for "Rock Steady" and "NEW LOOK", I preordered CD+DVD immediately. =D This Namie style is more lively and more fun than any of her previous works. She took on a modern twist to the 60s, 70s, and 80s - having each of the 3 videos with a different theme and it worked out VERY well! n_n
"Rock Steady" is very soulful, sexy, and disco. The vocals are surprising and the dance is very playful. While it took me about 2-3 listens to get used to this style, it quickly became my most favorite upbeat Namie song & video! "NEW LOOK" is very cute and sugar sweet! With the multiple scenes and outfit changes, this is Namie's most interesting video to date (in my oppinion!). I haven't seen "what a feelin'" (80s style) yet, they're probably saving the best for last! I'm sure it'll be just as good or better than the previous two. ^.^ Even if it's not, "Rock Steady" and "NEW LOOK" are enough to make me want this! *.* oooOoooOoo~can't wait for its release date!Did you find this review helpful? This concert is breath-taking and like a fantasy. I didn't even feel attached to this world anymore when I was watching it. Everything is so awe-inspiring and just........O_O no words to describe it!! >_<
Fish Leong sounded gorgeous, from beginning to end! *.* ooooooooooooo...GORGEOUS VOICE!! She sounded even better live than on the actual CD! The audience was very into it and I saw some people crying in the audience from the pure beauty that Fish displayed & I saw romantic couples holding hands!! n_n Hehehehe! SOOO SWEET! Though the majority of the concert were ballads, it didn't seem that way...and the 26 song setlist just flew by before I realized it!!
I usually don't like VCDs, but I didn't care this time whether it was VCD or DVD...just so long as I was able to see this. *.* It came in quite classy casing too! Nothing cheap; it's very nice!! Oooooooooo! The stage, I've never seen anything like it!! An actual working carousel...that was different! I can't wait 'till I make my bf watch this with me...hehehehe...maybe we'll hold hands just like the couples in the audience of the show!! (blush blush) WE'LL SEE! =DDid you find this review helpful? Agent J (No.1 Special Celebration Edition) (CD+DVD)
February 2, 2008 INCREDIBLE! ^0^I recieved my copy of the No.1 Celebration Edition today and oh my goodness! Is it me or does Jolin get more and more gorgeous every release? O.o
The concert was spectacular! *_* Jolin has greatly improved on her live vocals while dancing. She performed every song from Agent J (including "Let's Move It") + "Pretence" + an acoustic medley. The outfits were beautiful and Jolin even brought her fluffy, white puppy out on the stage during one of the performances. It was so cute & funny when she did her puppy's "imaginary" voice. Hehehehehe!! The guy that performed with her during "Pretence" was sooooooooo bad. XD You could tell he had potential, but I suppose it was the fact he was trying to sing a Jolin song...it didn't work out! O.O I loved the opening poledance too! So cuuute and I guess considered "sexy"? n_n I think so! Jolin is definitely the cutest Taiwanese artist I have yet to see. She doesn't need to put on a fake little voice or a fake cute act...she just is cute all on her own! n.n
Oh yesss! I forgot to tell you! The album jacket + booklet artwork is completely different from the usual "Agent J" artwork. And this doesn't come with collector's cards..at least, mine didn't. Only the Champion edition comes with 'em! ^________^ I hope this clears any previous doubt you had and encourages you to buy it. *.* It's woooooooooooorth it!!!!!!! The "Let's Move It" MV is great too! Such a catchy, fun song + great dancing. I'm so hyper!! I wanna watch the whole DVD AGAIN! O.ODid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

I felt a bit disappointed though...once again, the calendar was those cheap calendar cards instead of an actual calendar. The DVD lasted for about 5 minutes and ended; only showed footage in MV style! The photo notebook didn't have as many photos as it did pages for you to write on! ='( I wanted moooore! >_<

On the plus side though, I'm DEFINITELY buying Fish's new concert tour once it's released on DVD!!
