May 25, 2007 Her best albumI never really knew of U;nee until she passed away and I heard about it. I must say, I truly regret never of having heard her beautiful voice while she was alive. v_v U;nee was a terrific artist and her songs are so great. They always make me wanna dance.
I am going to order all of her albums for myself and for my fiance'. She is someone to remember. Always trying to please her fans, we will remember her always...

May 25, 2007 Very overratedDon't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Miyazaki-san's works, but this is one of his worst and it isn't worthy of such wonderful reviews.
From bloody & disgustingly gory images to a very boring storyline, I must say...this is a HORRIBLE first impression of Hayao Miyazaki.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A GOOD MIYAZAKI FILM BEFORE!!!

May 25, 2007 Sweet & emotionalOnce again, a masterpiece from Miyazaki-san.
This is really a splendid movie with a great storyline, beautiful emotion, and vivid characters. I truly adore it & will always love it all my life. When I have children one day, I want us all to sit down and watch Miyazaki's brilliant works such as this film, "Spirited Away", and "Howl's Moving Castle"...those as I just mentioned are his greatest works ever.

May 25, 2007 Another splendid Miyazaki filmThis film definitely made me even more of a Miyazaki fan.
I laughed so hard sometimes that I cried; it was sooo funny & cute. But it really is a beautiful piece of work. Howl the Wizard is a hottie (for a fictional character)...LOL =P
You'll really love this movie if you're looking for imagination and creativity that is rarely seen amongst many films nowadays.

May 25, 2007 Best movie I've ever seenThis is my all-time favorite movie after the first two times of watching it.
If you're not used to Japanese films, the imagination can be quite bizarre and strange at first, but you get used to it.
Miyazaki-san is truly a gifted film maker. I truly love this movie + hold it dear to my heart always & forever. The music is SO beautiful too, btw.

May 25, 2007 Very adored for her looks onlyI really can't see what's so great about this girl's voice. She sounds bad on some notes and often falls flat or goes out of tune. You can tell people only like her for her looks. She's not really pretty though, in my oppinion. (I've seen her without makeup, so I'm scarred for life)
I just really think those who buy this are shallow, because there's nothing to really like about it except the girl herself...and when I say that, I mean NOTHING to do with her music. As you may be able to hear, it's not that good at all.

May 25, 2007 GREAT for new listenersI know that most (non-Japanese) misono fans have yet to hear what she was like in DAT. You've been missing out.
DAT's music is like nothing I've ever heard before. misono was a better vocalist then, because the music actually suits it more than her solo career's music does. For anyone who think she can't sing, buy this. You will be surprised.
She is even more talented than Koda Kumi, in my oppinion. It's because misono has the ability to keep you entertained without having to take off her clothes or sing about sex.

May 25, 2007 Dreadfully boringOk, I'll give it to YUI that she has pretty meaningful songs + that's very important for an artist to have in my oppinion. However, her vocals are very boring. I really don't understand what's the big deal about YUI that's making her so popular. She's a very boring person and just sits there, playing her lil' guitar. Anyone can sing like that and play guitar while doing it. I guess people just think she's cute, but her facial expressions also look bored alot of the time.
Anyway, the only cool thing about YUI is her lyrics, but that's truly the ONLY thing. She does her own music too, but that's not as impressive considering the music isn't all that great either...just like her vocals.
Overall, if you're new to Asian musik, steer clear of this. I recommend "Ayumi Hamasaki", "BoA", "Hitomi Shimatani" or "Jolin Tsai"!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

May 24, 2007 J1 Live (2CD)I bought this because I thought the DVD was so amazing + she sounded so great! I wasn't disappointed! Jolin sings SO good live...only problem, as I said on the DVD version, is that the mic was too low on some parts.
However, I perferred the live versions over the studio versions to be honest! "Spirit Of The Knight", "Magic 72", and "Signature Move" were especially better than the studio versions! Truly amazing. Jolin is one of the best live vocalists to me. She does it so effortlessly and is still able to focus on dancing, emotion, and connecting with the audience.

Jolin is really so wonderful + you won't be disappointed with this. However, I don't recommend it to new listeners because the music is out-of-date nowadays! XD
Anyway, I have heard so many older albums by so many different artists, but I must say this one is one of the best. Jolin was ALWAYS good. May 22, 2007 Not all that great...Seems like it's the same thing over & over. VERY repetive. Everyone will tell you I'm one of the biggest BoA fans, but I'm not baised so I won't lie just to make her look good; BoA looks good anyway. Just...this single gets very annoying after awhile. It's one of her worst singles along with "Dakishimeru". I recommend a single like "Nanairo no Ashita ~brand new beat~" or "Sweet Impact"!!!

However, she does have a gorgeous voice. With it being her worst single ever, it's still very good compared to other artists. Just...compared to her previous and present works, it doesn't shine. May 22, 2007 Growing up...In this album, BoA's in her middle stage between girl and woman. She's more like a rebellious teen, so if you're a BoA fan...you shouldn't miss this because it's an important stage in our J-pop princess's life.
As far as the songs go...I like alot of them except for a few like "Dakishimeru", "Silent Screamerz", "make a secret", "Stay My Gold", "Ready ~Butterfly~". I find them a bit silly & too teenager-ish. I'm 18, but immature tracks like those make me yack. However, there are beautiful ones that make this album worthwhile like "Everlasting", "Do The Motion", "With U", and "First Snow".

May 22, 2007 Brilliance is BoAVERY good single from BoA. The A-side is so good; sweet lil' BoA doing a bubblegum pop song. The B-side is one of BoA's most beautiful ballads ever. May 22, 2007 LOL...I love BoA so much but the PV to this song is HILARIOUS. I know BoA is the best dancer in Asia, but this PV does NOT demonstrate that. It looks so funny and most the time, it looks like BoA is not control of her own body...like it's just going crazy on her. Makes me laugh everytime I see it. If you're new to BoA, PLEASE buy CD-ONLY so you'll have a good impression. This PV will just ruin it for you.
The songs are VERY good. I love both "Key Of Heart" and "Dotch". BoA sings so beautifully. Overall, good single 'cept for some slightly embarassing -n- funny looking dance moves in the PV.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
