I decided to buy this best album 'cause I've always listened to talk about this Ueto Aya and I wanted to know if she was so good as she seemed. At first listen I was kinda shocked, all the songs sounded the same to me and Aya's voice doesn't help ... now I think that this single collection it's ok, nothing more. I regret of discovering Izumi Sakai only after her passing away, fortunately there is still her music to keep her memory alive forever. It's a really nice best album, the singles she has released in her long carrer are so many that this collection with 2 CDs is not able to contain all of them, there are only her best ones. The sound is very 90s but I enjoyed every single track and I think that songs like ''Makenaide'' and ''Sayonara wa Ima mo Kono Mune ni Imasu'' are really masterpieces of the j-pop history. The package is very beautiful, the booklet is full of nice pictures and includes all the lyrics. Thanks to this album I discovered other enjoyable songs from this group (I only liked before ''Love Machine'', ''Summer Night Town'' and ''Osaka Koi no Uta''). The DVD is also good, I prefered if it would contain all the PVs but the live performances are nice too and so the interviews of the actual and past Morning Musume members and it's region free ! October 24, 2007 Catchy and enjoyableThis album is a mix of pop/dance/R&B songs, the melodies enter in your head at first listen. I personally don't find any of these songs terrible, my favourites are ''IMPOSSIBLE'', ''Missing'', ''Koi Shiyou'', ''Unmeisen'', ''Softly'', ''Aishiteru -Love Story-'' and ''Drive me crazy''. I must say that Leah hasn't got a great voice so, for the ones who care a lot about the artist's voice, this album could seem worse than which it is. Did you find this review helpful? It includes all her singles from ''Momo no Hanabira'' to the amazing ballad ''Planetarium'', the never relased before ''Kuroge Wagyuu Joshio Tanyaki 680 Yen'' (the single version of ''Kuroge Wagyuu Joushio Tanyaki 735 Yen'' from the album ''LOVE JAM''), ''Cherish'' and ''LOVE MUSiC'' (from the album ''LOVE COOK'') as bonus track. August 29, 2007 I want the old Hikki back ...''Beautiful World'' is a nice song with a nice upbeat, but gives me the feeling of the ''already listened'', it's a mix between Flavor of Life -Original Version- and This Is Love. Kiss & Cry is enjoyable but really boring, the new version of ''Fly Me To The Moon'' is the same of the old one, I don't know why it's called 2007 version when there is nothing new. ''Aishou'' is a beautiful rock ballad. The PVs are nice, the ''BUT'' one maybe is too explcit but it's enjoyable, the ''Aishou'' videoclip is wonderful, there is Kumi dressed up with a kimono surrounded by the atmosphere of a night full of stars in the sky. This greatest hits album includes all her singles with happy lyrics and tunes, hits such the rock ''evolution'', the pop/dance ''fairyland'', the ballads ''Moments'' and ''Voyage'' and the R&B ''Real me''. And the two DVDs are wonderful too, with the first including all her beautiful video clips and the other one with a live concert from her BEST of COUNTDOWN LIVE 2006-2007 tour. August 8, 2007 I'm disappointed ...Living outside Japan it's always hard to give myself an idea of an artist. In this case, I had only listened to ''Two As One'' and I thought that was their style but instead it's totally different. The songs are almost all ballads, nothing against ballads but only few of them are quite good and most of them are so boring ... The first time I've listened to it, I was a little disappointed, all the songs sound the same, the lyrics are not so original and there are a lot of errors in the english grammar, but after listening to all the album five times, now I'm in love with it ! I bought this album without listening any of these songs, the first EXILE single I've listened to was ''SCREAM'', before this song I didn't know this group, but I like so much the new songs that I haven't had any doubt to buy this best album. January 17, 2007 Absolutely amazing !
Most of the tracks included in this best album are re-arrenged and she has done a great work, the new version of ''Dandelion'' for example, is absolutely wonderful. ''The Power of Smile'', ''Ai no Melody'', ''time to say goodbye and ''Chowa oto-with reflection-'' are other excellent songs and there are also songs not relaesed as singles but they deserves to be in Kokia collection, like ''Watashi no Tayou'' and ''I believe-Umi no Soko Kara''.
