December 8, 2001 So scary
This movie scared the heck out of me. I don't get scared in movies very easily, especially with American horror movies since the plot is always the same thing. But this one was really creepy, I don't know why, and I don't think I like being scared anymore after watching it, haha... Still creeps me out when I think about it. I even had to watch it in two parts. Sometimes it's just scarier when less is explained. The plot may not sound very frightening, but trust me, you will be scared. The sound effects/music really really add to it. By the way there is a VCD version with English subtitles which is what I have. I'm still debating whether I can even handle watching Ring 2... Beautiful love story with a twist. Lee Jung Jae is really cute, the girl (sorry don't know her name) is pretty too. Gorgeous cinematography and a really nice soundtrack. One of my favorite Korean melodramas. After hearing all the hype, I expected a lot, and it did live up to the hype. December 1, 2001 4 Scenes...Good movie but I must say that the way the plot jumped back and forth between the characters was frustrating. By the end I was not really suprised at anything because things kept switching so much. I heard that because the movie was long and theaters in Korea like to show at least 6 shows a day to make more money (not over 2-hours a movie) 4 scenes were cut. Unfortunately these are important scenes such Jinha's name change, alliance with ani-Mongals, etc...things that would have helped explain events that just seemed to pop up out of nowhere. When I found that out I was less hard on the movie. Supposedly an overseas version is supposed to be released with the deleted scenes but I don't know which because I have the Spectrum 2-disc release. November 18, 2001 One of my favorites this yearAs One is awesome! This CD was better than I expected! I had only heard one song of their's previously from their first album, but when I heard how beautiful their voices are I went ahead and bought this. I must say the songs are great, sweet, so far I listen to it almost every day! The only track I'm not really interested is #11...I don't like the way it sounds.
