Gackt goes Gundam again.

Japanese singer Gackt returns to the J-pop scene with his new crossover work 0079-0088. The album features cover versions of the songs Suna no jujika ("Sand Cross"), Aisenshi ("Mourning Warrior"), and Meguriai ("Encounter"), which appeared in the Gundam trilogy released from 1981 to 1982. The five songs that Gackt sang for the Mobile Suit Z Gundam films in 2005 and 2006 will also be included on 0079-0088, bringing the album to a total of eight tracks dedicated to the anime Mobile Suit Gundam.

This edition features the voice of Mobile Suit Gundam character Char Aznable.

Still Awesome Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
There aren't many new songs in this album, but it is still a good buy. Just to warn you, that the 'feat. Amuro Ray' means you hear him say something sometime during the song, and if you're not expecting it, it throws you off a bit. But the album is still a great listen. I reccomend this album.

If you've been a fan of Gackt for a while, nothing on this album will disappoint you in my opinion. Aside from the older songs, the new songs are done in true Gackt fashion, and I think Meguriai, is one of the better songs Gackt has made in a long while. If you are new to Gackt, this album has a great mix of all of his work. ^^

Great work nonetheless. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This album only have 2,3 new songs on it, the rest can be found from his other albums. Great music always from the multi-talented gackt. Songs such as aisenshi, dybbuk, meguriai really pumps you up with heavy guitar and mechanical vocals while his softer, melodic songs like Love Letter, track 3 and 4 are sure will leave you in a very peaceful and happy mood. His music from up till now never failed to impress me, and his popularity as a singer is the proof of that.
