Great soundtrack

This Korean sountrack is different than most others. Instead of sappy ballads and revived classical pieces, there's beatiful, mellow soundscapes that compliment the mood of the film.
The best tracks here are the ones by Byul. Actually, I have a question about that: who is "Byul"? Is it the same Byul that does the duet with Bi? I've been trying to catch a hold of some other stuff done by them (him? her?), and that's the only Byul I've been able to find. |

Excellent music.
Excellent music.

There are three pieces on this albumn that I thought were excellent, all of which stood out when I watched the movie. The first track is the inspired tune which mixes a fat bubbly analog-sounding synth with a sitar, and a quiet korean voice. It's more than 5 minutes on the album. It was the song that played 57 minutes into the movie and began with a windy scene with the girls, spanned scenes of Seoul and ended up at a break-dance festival. The second track is as enjoyable as the first and done by the same artist. I also liked the final track which was similar in style. The other 10 tracks are melancholic... and not particularly memorable for me. The album was well worth buying for the three tracks mentioned above. Too bad for Anglophiles that the artists names are in Korean script. It makes it difficult to do a google search on the artist to get more info.
Enjoy. |

Wonderful movie and soundtrack
Wonderful movie and soundtrack

I saw this film recently, and after viewing it,
I purchased the soundtrack. The music, like the film itself, are excellent. The music, though on occasion may be somewhat sad, is one of the best soundtracks that I've heard from a film in quite a while. |

Wonderful movie and soundtrack
Wonderful movie and soundtrack
| I saw this movie recently, after which I purchased the soundtrack. The music is great, and it fits the movie perfectly. It does have a sad aspect to it, but this part of the music (and movie's) charm. |

excellent soundtrack

This soundtrack compliments the film beautifully.
It's wonderfully melancholy and dark, which seems to reflect the moods of the characters. M&F sound a little like the French band AIR. Highly recommended. |
