"The Warrior" is a period epic set in the 14th-century China.

The film's plot is based on real history: shortly after the Ming Dynasty seized power in China, a Ming envoy to Korea was murdered souring the relationship between the two countries. In an effort to mend ties, Korea sent numerous envoys to China. "The Warrior" is the story of a group of envoys sent to China and one of the group members' love story with a Ming princess in the wilderness.

"The Warrior" featured an all-star cast that includes heartthrob Chung Woo Sung as a spear-wielding slave, Joo Jin Mo as a young general, Ahn Sung Ki as a lower-class fighter and Zhang Ziyi, from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," as the Ming princess.

There is no match for this film on the planet earth. It deserves 100 Oscars. In short if you watch it
will be your number 1 favourite movie.

Fell in love with Jin-Mo Ju! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The movie was pretty good. Although the movie lacked in some areas, I still thought it was good, and I did cry as well. I wish the 3 main characters and their love story was more developed. I especially liked the way Jin-Mo Ju looked in the movie, as well as enjoyed listening to him speak Korean. <3 Very nice <3.

THIS MOVIE IS SO AMAZING...YOU WILL NOT GET TIRED WATCHING IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. GOOD ACTING, SCREENPLAY AND STUNTS ARE ALL GOOD. THIS MOVIE IS UNFORGETTABLE.

A graphic movie focused on the fight scenes with a lot of action. There are some very cool characters in this show, but it appears at times to be more of a fairy tale than a period piece. Still, if you like martial arts, you'll enjoy this.

This is exactly what this film is, truly unforgettable! Everything from excellent acting, plot, storyline, A++ mind blowing realistic action/fight/battle scenes to emotion and solid character development it's all here for you!!!! Personally I would rate this movie up there alongside Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero. Simply pure gold, this is truly a film money well spent on. You wont be dissappointed!
P.s (Zhang Ziyi is beautiful as ever on this one!!!!)
