Having finished their nationwide tour in December 2002, the band offers some new surprises on top of their usual rock 'n' roll for their latest release. This time YB also collaborated with Mike Bigwood, who has worked with George Michael, Sinead O'Connor, and Sting.

I can't praise this album highly enough

This album is fantastic! I bought it on a whim... but it did not disappoint me at all. Yoon Do Hyun's vocals are powerful and every single song is fresh and rocking! I was wary of Korean rock bands for a while... many have failed to live up to my expectations. But gosh, I think they just became my favorite Korean rock band... yes, this album is that good. I urge everyone reading this review to just purchase this. If you like rock music, you won't be disappointed. :D |

Just fantastic - I found out about the Yoon Do Hyun band relatively recently, as I realized that they were the ones singing "Oh Pilseung Korea" during the World Cup, and this album does not dissapoint. Loads of rockin' bass lines with stinging electric guitar leads and loaded, passionate vocals by Yoon Do Hyun, accented by icy and airy piano lines, create an album full of atmospheric, athemnic and epic, wall of sound rock and roll in the vein of rock giants U2, The Verve or even Oasis. Standout tracks are the massive and epic song "Chingoo" and "Who Am I", as well as "Sarang-Halgoya", with a memorable piano line. If you're a big fan of reach-for-the-sky rock, or just want some great Korean and just in general Rock and Roll - do not miss this! |
