GLAY "THE FRUSTRATED"- A Kaleidoscope That ROCKS The top-notch Japanese rock band GLAY has dominated the leading seat for nearly 16 years and is still going strong. The key of their incredible success must definitely be their smooth cooperation and the tacit agreement developed among the band members over all these years. This time on "THE FRUSTRATED", GLAY continues their legend with, first of all, two first-time released tracks "HIGHCOMMUNICATIONS" and "ALL I WANT". Despite their rather flawed English pronunciation, GLAY makes up by bringing in these two live versions which are as perfect as if they were recorded in studio. Between these two tracks, one more vote should go to "ALL I WANT" as it stirs up more energy with the harmony between the percussion and the guitars. The lyrics of the single "THE FRUSTRATED" are about a man who is always in a lather and has a restless mind. Teru, the vocal, however tones it down and gives an unexpectedly gentle rendition. GLAY gives a new definition to rock 'n' roll music on this album. "BEAUTIFUL DREAMER" is accompanied by a magnificent string arrangement which harmonizes with the voices of GLAY. Hard rock arrives at a brand new level on "BLAST" which is enriched by the participation of wind music and percussion players from Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. Looking for a roller-coaster musical ride? "Billionaire Champagne Miles Away" should make your day. "BUGS IN MY HEAD" also brightens up the album with its wit and humor delivered by the interesting rhythm. Bored with those clichéd love ballads? "coyote, colored darkness" gives you a taste of being in love within turbulence. "Runaway Runaway" also tells a heartbreaking story with its catchy slogan-like chorus. | This is one of the few CDs I have heard where every single track is simply gold. The closest thing to perfection, and one of Glay's best. |

This cd is simply awesome! All the songs make me dance and sings with Glay! My favorite tracks are 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 14 Buy this u won't regret it! ^^ Perfect mixture of pop and rock! |

| *grims really big* i just bought the CD yesterday and have already fallen in love with it. The muisc is so hypnotizing and steals my mind and tosses it into a world of imagination and love! My heart skips to the beat that they put out and I can't stop listeing to it. I love them, their vocies are great and the music they sing to just grabs you no matter what you do. You couldn't escape them, even if you tried....^^ |

| This CD songs are all pack up and arrange nicely in the album. Juz buy it n u won regret!!! The songs in the album are like their last time album songs which means very raw and very nice especially Street Life!! Glay rocks!! |

| I've been listening to "Coyote, Colored Darkness" for the last few days STRAIGHT. Along with this awesome song, you got a lot of songs that bring you back to the old Glay of "Yes, Summerdays", etc. Just look at the cover too, ain't it cool! If you want a good CD to go driving at high speeds to on the freeway...but this album FAST. |
