紀里谷和明監督の映画「CASSHERN」のテーマソングとして書き下ろされた「誰かの願いが叶うころ」。一見、希望に満ち溢れた歌かと思うが、"勝"の裏にある"負"、"光"あるところに必ず存在する"影"という深い世界観を、シンプルなピアノコードと美しいストリングスにのせてつづっている。本作は「誰かの願いが叶うころ」のプロモーション・クリップに、そのメイキングとレコーディング風景を収録したDVDシングル。映画同様、紀里谷和明が監督を手がけているが、トレードマークとも言えるハイパーなCG合成を一切使わず、「写真」の構図を意識した斬新なカットが流れていく。また、寺尾聡、樋口可南子、及川光博、要潤という、こちらも映画に出演したキャスト陣が、彼女の家族役で出演。超豪華異色作となっている。

I didn't like the song until I saw the PV! It's really beautiful... all in black and white with "the family" as the main theme. The DVD includes the PV and a short making-of. The biggest minus of this disc is that it's 10 minutes long! It's too short!
