my future wife starts singing!
|
She doesn't know it yet, but Kimura Kaela wants to marry me. And guess what? I would say yes...if I could understand her Japanese and if it suddenly became legal. But while I'm waiting for my proposal, I will just keep listening to Kaela's rockin' tunes. This CD is Kaela's musical debut, and it doesn't suck. It's not as good as "Circle," but it certainly has its moments. Plus it's my future wife and she is singing in my ear, so who really cares? I urge everyone to check out track #6: "D.T.S." Translated by me into awesomely poetic English, this song reveals once and for all that Kaela has some secrets going on (if you know what I'm saying). I'm actually shocked that a certain portion of the Japanese female population weren't going "Oohhh" over this song. It's the most thinly-veiled REZU song I've heard in ages. The rest of the CD is good too. "You Know You Love Me" and "Because" offer some highly-amusing Engrish for me to both laugh and "aww" over. After you buy "Circle," buy "Kaela." But hands off! Cuz she's mine. |

solid debut album
| i full-heartedly agree with the below review of the album "kaela". first off, the album has a very catchy, poppy sound that will get people's attention, but it also contains a certain individual appeal that will keep people's attention. from the first glance of the inside of the cd booklet, you notice that kimura has real sense of humor, doing some funny photo shoots and even making fun of rapper ai. that individual sense of fun and imagination takes form in the music as well as her image. kimura is the kind of artist that could have a long career if she stays true to her sense of self and delivers strong pop-rock songs that people can connect to with a sense of fun. definate thumbs up. |

Really good.
| This cd is really good, but underrated. There are awesome songs on this album that most anybody would like. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a more alternative, but popish, sound. Kimura Kaela is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
