Sad Love Story made headlines not only for its whopping seven billion won production budget, but also for the last minute casting switch from Song Seung Heon to Yeon Jung Hoon due to Song's military service scandal. Sad Love Story entails a heartbreaking romance caught between rivalry and friendship. Kim demonstrates her acting abilities by portraying a blind singer. Taking the opportunity to extend her talent beyond acting, the actress also lends her singing voice to the character.

Sad Love Story OST (Pop & Orchestra Version) is a fine collection of some of the memorable songs and scores presented throughout the drama. Having expressed her dream of becoming a pop star since her debut, Kim Hee Sun fulfills part of her wish by offering more than a handful of songs in the soundtrack. The album features Kim's soft, melodic voice in Myupbuneul Haerjurdo ("No Matter How Many Break-ups") (Track 4), and her own sweet rendition of Nat King Cole's L.O.V.E. (Track 6), The Carpenters' Yesterday Once More (Track 9), and Jackson 5's I'll Be There (Track 10). In addition, actress Jin Hee Kyung beautifully reinterprets some of familiar hit tunes by Iggy Pop and Ray Charles.

I have been dying to get a SAD LOVE STORY ost for the longest since I have first seen this drama.
It just consists of my very two fav K-actors, even though one didnt make it to the finalized show.
I was still very interested in this drama more than ever.
And now I finally gotten this with Song Seung Heon;
and he's so awesome as ever! So as Kwon Sang Woo, Kim Hee Sun, and Yeon Jeong Hoon.
I adore them and this terrifyingly amazing OST.
I want the original OST and wonder where I can find it? Lol.

i just love this albumn, song seung heon sings with so much feeling, then of course theres yoon gons husky {sexy voice} and also sg wannabe's harmonious voices, all in all a very good album.

Thanks GOD! I Finally found it... I like it number 3,9 and 11. But I still find this song from Drama Sad Love Story here name song Nae Gae Oh Gaet Ni By Yoon Gun. Anyone know this song? if yes what can I find it in album? buy it if you like song from Sad Love Story.

I like all the songs and the music in this soundtrack, all fantastic.. but I would like to know why there is no song for Track 16, why only piano version, I like the song as well, anyone can tell me where to get it, it is strange that this song was not included in this OST...

Hi guys, I really strongly recommend this soundtrack. This soundtrack contains singles perform by the main actress Ms Kim Hee Seon and the second main actor Mr Yeon Jeong Hoon of the drama. though they are not professional singers, they put in so much emotion when they sang those songs. I can even cry when i listen to their songs. as every lyrics they sang along with the music, send torrents and snap shots of the drama just flows in my mind. Yeon Jeong Hoon's delivery of the song is very immense and evokes so much emotion in the song.

Though their singing is not immaculate. It just not mean that their singing is sub-standard or pales when compared to the professional singers. In fact their singing and delivery of the songs make some professional singer work even harder... I think the casts' participation in making the soundtrack shows the effort and their sincerity in this mega project.

These soundtrack album is by far one very emotional and sincere album made. I have listen to quite a number of korean drama soundtracks. This is one of those that stands out from the rest of the soundtrack.I think one good way for the cast to show their appreciation for their global supporters is to do something like this..... We really appreciate this effort..
