Another great album... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I purchased Angela Aki's album HOME just a couple months ago, and I have to say that it really is a great album. It starts well, with the well-known Final Fantasy XII theme Kiss Me Goodbye, and continues solid to the end-- each song containing Aki-san's talented piano skills. Her vocals are clear and steady, and every song is wonderful. Now let me get to the tracks...

Kiss Me Goodbye: This is a beautiful love song; I love how Aki-san pulled it off. I especially like the chorus right after the interlude. I wish they could have included the English version of this song also. 10/10
Love Is Over Now: This is a wonderful song with a nice, laid-back feel. The chorus is particularly beautiful, with Angela perfectly hitting the high notes. 10/10
Kokoro no Senshi: I love how this song starts off with a single chord and Angela's voice. The verses have a nice, smooth melody, and the chorus is powerful and uplifting. 10/10
MUSIC: This is one of her more upbeat songs. I like how she leads int the chorus with "kimi wa..." The lyrics of the chorus are also really nice. 9/10
This Love: This song is just wonderful. =) It emphasizes the piano and strings, and the transition from the verses to the chorus is wonderfully done. The melody of the chorus, and the key change at the end is also very beautiful. 10/10
Onegai: This song can seem very repetitive in that it reapeats the same melody line over and over again, but this is probably because the song was meant to focus on the lyrics. The cello in the background adds to the sad, beautiful feel of the song. 9/10
Uchuu: This is definitely my favorite song; it has a very unique style compared to the rest of the album. In the first section, it has a mysterious, intriguing feel, which transitions to an uplifting chorus, and ends with the same mysterious feel from the beginning, with Angela singing "eternity is now...". 10/10
Rain: As I transcribed the chords for this song, I found that a sequence of five chords repeats for basically the entire song. However, this doesn't take away from the song at all. I love how she pauses at the last chorus. =) All in all, Rain didn't stand out to me too much but is a great song nonetheless. 9/10
Kiseki: This is a really nice upbeat song. I found it funny how she repeats 'waiting for a miracle' back n forth in Japanese and English. There's nothing extraordinary about this song, but it's still good. 9/10
Oogesa ni Aishiteiru: This song has a nice, loose feel to it. I really like this song because itit features Angela and her piano playing, specifically her jazz skills. Definitely one of my favorites. =) 10/10
Hallelujah: This was my least favorite track b/c to me it felt a little repetitive. Still a nice song tho. 8/10
HOME: I feel that HOME is definitely one of the best songs on this album. It has a gentle feel to it and conveys a nice atmosphere. 10/10
Your Love Song (English): At first I was a bit bored with this song since it contains only the piano and few lyrics. However, this is a truly beautiful and deep song with a delicate melody; I really love the piano solo at the end. 10/10

Angela Aki - Home Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Gifted singer/songwriter Angela Aki's debut album is really great if you like nice ballads, mid up-tempo songs and off course piano music which is the basic of all of her songs. She is such an amazing artist with a lot of potential creativity to make it big in the future, if she isn't already because of her input for the new Playstation 2 game, Final Fantasy XII theme song "Kiss Me Good-Bye" and for the 3rd ending theme song for the anime BLOOD+, "This Love". The album will also include "Rain", which was a huge hit on her previous indies mini-album "One". I pre-ordered this version a while ago and I must say I didn't regret it because I was sure it was going fast 'out of print', just because the fact it has the Final Fantasy theme song on it and the "Final Fantasy XII Perfected Original Movie ~Final Edition~" track on the DVD. The DVD also includes all PV's for "Home", "Kokoro no Senshi", "Kiss Me Good-Bye" and "This Love", the last track on the DVD is a live performance from "This Love" at the SonyMusic Anime Festival which was held on 2006.5.7, I must say her live performance sounds great, she sings just as pure as she sings on the album. I know this version is 'out of print', but if you ever find the CD+DVD Limited Edition, you should definitely buy it immediately or buy the normal edition if you don't care about the DVD, either way, buy it, because this album is a masterpiece.

Wonderful! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I purchased two of Angela's singles and LOVED them so I couldn't wait for her first album to come out. I wasn't one bit disappointed with it. The whole thing is just wonderful and I love the new tracks, especially MUSIC and Hallelujah. Another thing that makes this album great is that all the tracks flow really well and go together nicely. HOME is a perfectly fitting name for this first album. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new to add to their music collection.

Sensational! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Angela is truely a gifted artist! Any artist that can make me fall in love with his/her music after first listen certainly deserves much appreciation and praise. I didn't know what to expect before listening to her album, but I was pleasantly surprised. Each song is worth listening to, some more than others, but you can tell she puts effort into singing each and every song. However, the style remains mostly the same throughout the whole album; lots of piano, strings, and soft percussion. But that's ok, because most of the songs are equally great. Just listening to the title track "Home" is enough to get you wanting more of her music. Definitely a nice addition to my music library. 10/10
