    수더분한 외모에 대충하고 다니는 차림새. 솔직하고 씩씩한 성품. 동정심 많고 헌신적이지만, 남들로부터 사랑받는 일에는 익숙치 않은 사람. 스스로의 고귀함과 가치를 깨닫고 자유로워지기까지, 긴 고통의 시간을 겪는다.

    서울 변두리 언덕배기 옥탑 전셋집에서 홀아버지, 여동생과 함께 살고 있다. 여동생 지은과는 무척 의가 좋았다. 연년생이지만, 엄마처럼 챙겨주고 보살펴왔다. 동생이 부럽고, 애틋하고, 또 자랑스럽다. 세상에서 제일 가까운 친구가 바로 그 여동생(지은 :하지원 분)이었다.

    세상에 믿을 사람은 스스로 뿐이라는 깨달음을 일찌감치 얻었으며 자기에 대한 애정과 자존심, 승부근성이 대단하다. 확신이 서면 무조건 밀어붙인다. 희정을 만나 사랑을 느끼게 되나 그녀가 자신을 사랑하지 않자 당혹감을 느낀다. 더구나 자신을 키워준 사장 윤명애가 희정의 동생 지은과 자신을 맺어주려 하자 좌절과 딜레마에 부딪친다.

    A good storyline with great acting especially by the lead actor Kim Min Jong..who is able to express his feeling without much words or action.Great chemistry between him and Kim H.Na.

    Thoroughly Entertaining. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
    A great, if somewhat formulaic drama. What makes this one is the acting and interaction between the main characters, not least of all the two main leads. Ha Ji-Won is so good at playing anything and her role of the lying, conniving, insecure sister is great. When things are going her way, she's great and when her character gets into trouble, you can see the fear and immaturity in her face. Kim Ha-Neul's character tries her best to be patient with her but eventually gets fed up and 'the gloves come off'. As the blurb says, you'll be yelling, cussing and cheering at the screen.

    This would have been interesting had they shorten it to 16 episodes. It was already dragging and mad eit boring. The secret is irritating because of lack luster performances. It not even worth discussing...thats disapointing this is. FLAT AND DRY

    i watch this show cuz i saw the main actress kim ha neul in other drama and want to watch her again. this show secret is too boring and the story is slow. the characters are not that good. this show is a big disappointment. this one can skip.

    Honestly, I did NOT like this peice of film.

    First of all, the storyline was tedious and unconventional. Sure the movie is called "Secrets," however, they did not have to drag it for 20 episodes. 17 episodes should have been enough. The characters were hypocritical, confusing, and non-convincing. The main actress was too naive. It seem like she had no clue about what was going on at all. She let people push her around and abuse her. The mother was also naive and blind. The sister was a manipulator. She was evil and very annoying. The actors were no help at all. They did not know how to show their love and were sometimes confused.

    The good thing about this movie is the suspense. It keeps you guessing and desiring what will happen next with the end of each episode. I thought the ending was also good.

    Overall, I wouldn't recommend you to purchase this film. It might make you want to slap some sense into the cast and it doesn't really touch you like other films. Most of the time, it angers you. There is not much to sympathize. Most of all, this show does not have a good looking cast.
