After winning a cookery competition, Cha Eun Jae (Han Chae Young, Sassy Girl, Chunhyang) wins the opportunity to go and study at a cookery school in Venice, Italy. Once there she goes searching for her old landlord to learn the secret recipe for perfect spaghetti, but instead meets the handsome, yet arrogant Han Ee Joon (Jo Hyun Jae, Love Letter). There is an instant attraction between the two but, due to a misunderstanding, Ee Joon leaves, believing Eun Jae to have another boyfriend.
Six years later, back in Korea, the couple meet again and Eun Jae discovers that Ee Joon is now the successor to a large company. Will she pursue him after he abandoned her all those years ago? Really, really great series!!!

I wasn't so sure about this drama at first since I'm not familiar with the male lead. After seeing the successful team up of HCY & JH in Chun-hyang, this series was shown same year, I didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I bought this series, I enjoyed watching it and the main leads (HCY and JHH) had really good chemistry. I loved this series as much as Chun-hyang. |

Only You-- Trully Only You

I watched this miniseries b/c of Jo Hyun Jae (in Forbidden Love and Love Letter) and was not sure if story was good. Wow, the story was great, well written (and very happy ending). It showed how True love can win all obstacles. The chemistry between HCY and JHJ made this drama even greater. Jo Hyun Jae is really a great actor. Can't wait to see him in Seo Dong Yo. Too bad, this series is longer available thru YesAsia. |

Love the setting

I enjoyed this series, the cast played their role pretty well. The setting is very nice as well. This is a light drama... at least your heart won't burst before you finished the film. Good ending. |

Highly entertaining

Although I don't understand Korean, I hang on to Han Chae Young's speeches, which she delivers like a song that has varied tempos, pitches and volumes. She's never boring. People will disagree with me, but I think Jo Hyun Jae is a wonderful comedian, who speaks "tongue in cheek". He is extremely hilarious delivering his lines staying true to his character as a jerk while HCY on occasions plays the straight guy. Excellent acting! As for the plot, the drama/comedy expresses lines that show the steady, gradual progression of understanding of each other's damaged feelings that beg for a closure. Now another gem was the OST. The One is superb, and The Project IJ is flawless. A problem: I don't know who The Project IJ is! I would like to purchase more of his work. I highly recommend this drama that is most satisfying in many ways---a tightly written script, excellent acting, a great love story, beautiful songs, and a good cook inducer. |
