2004년 1월 Vocal 김신의를 중심으로 몽니를 결성하여 홍대 클럽을 중심으로 모던락 성향의 라이브 활동을 하다가 모던락 프로듀서인 모던라이프의 신동우 PD를 만나 음악적으로 도움을 받는다. 이후,모던라이프에서 주관하는 여러 공연과 파티에 참여하면서 다른 뮤지션들과의 만남과 녹음 활동등을 통해 뮤지션으로서의 성장에 영향을 많이 받는다.
또한,KTF 매직앤 가요제에 참가한 이들은 뛰어난 음악성과 놀라운 연주 실력을 선보이면서 야마하 특별상을 받는다. 몽니는 멤버 개개인의 개성이 뚜렷하고 리더인 김신의를 중심으로 강한 결속력을 보이는 밴드며 많은 무대경험과 뛰어난 연주에서 우러나오는 라이브에서의 카리스마가 이들의 강한 매력이다. 몽니는 음악성과 라이브에 강한 밴드로 모던라이프에 전속계약으로 신동우PD와의 합류로 시너지 효과가 클것이며 앞으로 모던라이프와 더불어 많은 공연과 녹음활동으로 큰 성장을 이룰 것이며 향후에 국내뿐 아니라 해외에서도 실력을 인정 받는 밴드가 될 것이다.

An excellent album

This is some amazing rock music. It reminds of a mix of Keane and Muse. I wish I had found out about them earlier, I would have loved to listen to this while I was in high school. I just happened to stumble across them in my korean friend's iTunes and loved them immediately. I highly recommend this album for k-rock lovers (those who love NELL, Loveholic, Dear Cloud, etc...) I hope they come out with a new album in the near future. Hope this gets back in stock, I would really like to buy this. |
