I purchased this because I was really impressed with the first Phoenix Wright game and really wanted to find out what happens next.
I was not disappointed. If you enjoyed the first game, then you should like this too. Compared to the first game, however, this sequal seems to be lacking in a few areas. Firstly, I find the cases less interesting than in the previous game. They're not bad, really, but the cases in the first game were pure classic! Secondly, none of the 'fingerprint searching' or '3D examination of objects' from the previous game are included this time: which is quite a let down. If you're reading this, however, then it's likely that you've already played the first game and you're hungry for more. If so, then go ahead and check this out! Although this is a Japan version game, you can switch the language to ENGLISH! Thank god!!!!!!!! No need to wait for an official english release! (wouldn't it be great if all Japan version games came with English language options?) A small note however: a few grammer mistakes are present in the English text. E.g. 'where' and 'were' mixed-up. Probably because they rushed the translation since the main audience of this version is not those outside Japan. Having said that, the mistakes are just minor and will not affect your understanding of the sentences. Another reason to get this is the price tag. Wow, grab a good game at a bargain price now!!! |
