삼족오 - 세발 까마귀. 삼족오 문양은 고구려 고분 벽화의 많은 곳에 등장하며 태양, 태양신, 한님을 상징한다. 현재는 까마귀를 흉조로 알지만, 우리의 고대사에서는 까마귀는 신령스러운 새로 표현되고 우리말 고어에서 검다는 말이 신성을 내포하고 있어 '검다'에 어원을 둔 까마귀는 하늘이나 신령과 관계가 있는 성스러운 새였을 것이다. 삼족오는 천.지.인 정신을 담고 있고 그러한 정신은 윌나라의 오래된 경전 천부경에도 나타나있다. 고구려벽화나 유물 등 생활 전반에 남아있는 태양속 삼족오의 자취는 한민족의 하늘과 땅과 사람이 하나라는 천손 사상을 표현한 것이다.

면면히 잠들어 있던 우리 민족의 웅대한 기상을 고구려의 하늘을 연 개국영웅 주몽을 통해 본다. 광활한 벌판을 달리던 고구려인의 밝고 강한 기상을 태양속에 사는 새 삼족오를 통해 담아본다.

cute but small

I finally received my ear rings...about five days later than promised. They are cute but rather small. The box they arrived in was wonderful. The ear rings are at $44, over priced. A price range of $25 to $30 would be more reasonable. |

waiting and waiting and....

will it ever ship? Ordered 11/3....still waiting - its now 11/13...well past seven day shipping.....very disappointing...it I ever receive the ear rings I might take the time to write another review. ;-( |
