Well known for his starring turns in films like Maundy Thursday and Duelist, Kang Dong Won is one of the most popular and versatile actors working in Korean cinema. Like many of today's top stars, he started his career in television, and 2003 MBC drama Something About 1% is perhaps his most charming TV offering. Kim Jung Hwa (Snow White, Money's Warfare) stars opposite Kang Dong Won in this lighthearted romance about a relationship that has only 1% chance of working out. The drama also features Han Hae Jin (Jumong), Kim Ji Woo (Bad Woman, Good Woman), and Kim Seung Min (Wonderful Life).

Lee Jae In (Kang Dong Won) is a competent businessman and the heir to a hotel empire, but his ill temper and stubbornness leaves his grandfather in an equally bad-tempered bind. To teach his grandson a lesson, he adds a stipulation in his will that his fortune will be left to the man who marries Kim Da Hyun (Kim Jung Hwa), a kind-hearted, outspoken middle school teacher. Jae In and Da Hyun don't want anything to do with each other, but they reluctantly start dating on a contractual basis. Jae In's rude and rash personality brings on a myriad of clashes and conflicts for the hard-headed pair, but in the midst of all that bickering, love has already begun.
