YesAsia Editorial Description

Moi dix Mois returns with their highly anticipated new album. The sound project that was brought alive by Mana (the former leader of MALICE MIZER) with Seth on vocals and guitarist K presents its fourth album. DIXANADU (an invented word that is supposed to mean "Ideal Village") arrives after a 2½ year hiatus and comes filled with dramatic, symphonic music. Once again underlining the creative spirit of Moi dix Mois, this 12-track release should please old and new fans alike.

Uh...no. Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
I have loved Moi dix Mois since they formed. But this CD..... it just isn't worth it. I hadn't listened to it for a while, so I decided to bring it alone for a car trip.... Oh my gosh. I just kept skipping the tracks thinking, "There must be atleast one good song on this album..."..... NO. And then they redid a few of their old songs... and made them worse..... I was so disappointed in this album. The only reason I still hav eit is so I can have a complete collection.....

its an eloquent masterpiece Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
after waiting almost two months for this cd, the anticipation that i had was not faultered when i began to hear the cd.. from the beginning notes, to the climactic hard shreds to the soothing instrumental pieces, i was astounded. mana has a talent for creating beautiful music, and the new lineup have done nothing but fantastic, this band is definetely heading in the right direction with this. now all i have to hope for is an instrumental release to let more of my friends enjoy it who dont have the "patience" to listen to a foreign language. KUDOS TO MOI DIX MOIS!!

Wonderful! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After listening several times to Moi Dix Mois' new cd, I still think the same way about it when I first heard it. Fantastic.
This cd offers you nothing but the best, the music sounds great and Seth's voice is so enchanting and pleasant to listen to.

I admire Mana ever since Malice Mizer, and I think with this new release he shows again what a great artist he is.
In other reviews I read about this cd, people just keep comparing Dixanadu with previous M10M releases, and I just dont get that. Art is art, and should stand on its own without being compared all the time. Dixanadu took its place in my top 3 of favorite cd's, and it will stay there a very very, very long time.
