H.I.T OST (MBC TV Series)

MBC's new drama H.I.T has attracted a lot of attention from the get go with its stellar credentials. The tight crime series stars popular actress Ko Hyun Jung, the lead of such dramas as Sandglass and What's Up, Fox?, and actor Ha Jung Woo, familiar to cinema fans for his performances in films like Kim Ki Duk's Time. In addition, the drama is produced by Yoo Chul Yong (Sad Love Song, All In) and written by Kim Young Hyun of Dae Jang Geum and Seo Dong Yo fame. H.I.T, which stands for Homicide Investigation Team, integrates C.S.I. elements like crime scene analysis with action, suspense, and romance. Ko Hyun Jung plays Che Su Jin, the tough, sharp-shooting female chief of the homicide investigation team, while Han Jung Woo portrays laidback prosecutor Kim Jaek Won. The cast also includes singer Kim Jung Min and rising actress Yoon Ji Min (Super Rookie Ranger).

With the drama boasting such a strong cast and production team, the soundtrack features equally impressive names. Popular group Super Junior contributes three tracks to the drama, including the energetic opening theme Success (Track 1), the easy-listening fast-tempo end theme H.I.T (Track 6), and Big Style (Track 18). While Super Junior's K.R.Y. were featured in the soundtracks for Hyena, Snow Flower, and Billie Jean Look At Me, this marks the first time the entire group has participated in an OST. Other than Super Junior, the track list also includes Gummy's "Pain" (Track 2), JM's "That Person" (Track 3), Lee Jung Kyun's "Separation From You" (Track 5), and the drama version of Kim Jung Min's "Last Love" (Track 4).
