Not My Cup of Tea

I totally agree with reviewer Star !. I have to like the main characters to like the drama and I just cannot like the Ma Yoo Hee character. Also, Moo Ryong's character is every mother's nightmare of a son behaving like that for a woman like Ma Yoo Hee. I stopped watching this series after episode 11! |

I know some reviewers thought there was not alot of emotion from Ma Yoo Hee(Han Ga In) but as the story unfolds you see that she wasn't brought up in an environment where feelings were shown or discussed. I enjoyed watched the character slowly begin to feel comfortable with her feelings. Moo Ryong (Jae Hee) was so funny and sweet in his role as Ma Yoo Hee's "Love" coach. I enjoyed his role as a chef apprentice with Johnny (Dennis Oh) also. If you really just look at the people and the emotions they are going through you won't be bored. Too be honest, when I watched the 1st episode I thought I had bought a dud of a movie. The music was different, the colors of the set were bold and bright, the direction and actors were very trendy and fast but by the end of the 2nd episode I was hooked. I bought the OST to this one and it is one of my favorites. I think you'll enjoy this one. |

I thought the only person worth watching was Dennis Oh. The cuisine looked actually authentic. I didn't like the guy looking so hopeless and taking orders from a rude witch over every bekin' call. I just hope my son doesn't fall into that trap! |

Good Start, VERY BAD ENDING

Ok, I watched this drama because Jae Hee stars in it and Han Ga In is not that bad in the beginning for acting like a witch. But after 4 or 5 episodes, the entire drama keeps getting worse, so many redundant and wasted scenes. Just because it is the same director from My Girl (which is one of my favorite dramas ever) doesn't mean he is the one who created the script. The script was totally boring and nonsense from middle to end of the story. I was expecting so much for it to get better, but the end made me want to totally rip my hair out or something for wasting my time on this awful drama. Watch something else for your time and money!! |

THIS DRAMA IS ABSOLUTELY JUST AWFUL TO WATCH....IT HAS IT GRAND MOMENTS AT TIME, BUT OVER IT WAS PAINFULLY BORING! I WAS REALLY EXCITED ABOUT WATCHING THIS DRAMA BUT IT TURN OUT TO BE A TOTAL LETDOWN! THE MAIN ACTOR N ACTRESS ARE VERY ANNOYING: THE GUY LOOK LIKE HE HAS ANOREXIA AND THE GIRL HAS NO EMOTIONS, JUZ A BORING, I'M-STUCK-UP FACE THROUGHOUT! I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM BECAUSE I LIKED THEM IN SUPER ROOKIE N MY SASSY GIRL! IF YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THEN GO AHEAD AND WATCH THIS BUT I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT, A WASTE OF TIME! |
